This looks a bit like wing blast or scorch. Both are pretty decent cards so I’m liking this as well.

This card is really good. You can tempo remove the opponent drop 3 if you happen to play the fox or the new 3/2 on curve. Guiven that with the small pool of dorps 3 we would be playing foxx and the 3/2 anyway, this card is great!!!!

This card is way overrated. It’s useless in any deck that isn’t thief rogue, and thief rogue is bad and probably still will be after rotation.

Replaces shadowstrike in my thief rogue, so I can appreciate.

Even a 0 Mana deal 4 damage to a minion isn’t so great for rogue.

Whether or not Vendetta is good is completely contingent on if Burgle Rouge is good. Honestly, I really hope it isn’t almost entirely because of Shadowstep and Spectral Cutlass making the deck into an infuriating endless value generation deathtrap.

Tess rogue is losing vilespine slayers too. Despite the fact that assasinate is still an option. Rogues does very good with 0 cost spells. You have backstabs, This is twice that good for the same mana. 4 dmg for 4 mana is not exactly the standart. As for me a standart 4 cost spell is fireball. 6 dmg worth of stats GG.
Now 4 dmg to a minion is most likely killing it. And it can be used on damaged minions as well. Tesspionage loses some cards for shure but gets a descent value replacements. Bear in mind that the new meta will be much slower since baku/gen deck are goners. And most of the good archetypes are leaving the rotation too. This card overall is amazing even if not used in tesspionage. And it is not that hard for any rogue to get a card from another class. Even without a card from another class it is still a shadowbolt. And shadowbolt is farly usefull. Not shure why only 3 But if you are playing van clief deck you most certainly want low cost garbage and you most certainly want to utilize the 1 mana esspionage cards so why not splash a 0 cost card as well?

This won’t make Tess Rogue good, and I don’t think this card justifies running suboptimal cards (such as Blink Fox over Hench Clan Thug for example) to make it work. If anything. I believe this could be part of an engine that benefits from 0 mana cost spells, or find use in an already good Tess Rogue deck. This, or maybe a combo deck will enjoy the additional removal option idk.

Tesspionage Rogue is losing its most powerful card (IMO) in Valeera the Hollow (plus others like Hallucination, Minstrel, Shinyfinder), so this will be a welcome addition- I’m just not sure it’s going to be enough to push the deck into competitiveness.

The deck struggled the most against aggro, and while this does help, it’s far from guaranteed it’ll be turned on in the early game, and it’ll be yet another card that will make you cry in the mirror matchup against a more aggro Rogue.

This looks like a great card for a historically poor archetype. I’m not giving this a high score because I’m worried that the archetype this fits into won’t be competitive, yet again. 3/5

Didn’t they fix rogue mirror. I thought they switched it to discover a card from ANOTHER class, not your opponents.

Hallucination, Pilfer, Pick Pocket, Blink Fox, Academic Espionage and Lilian Voss all generate cards from your Opponent’s class, still.

You’re right though, in that the newer cards seem to be going in that direction: Stolen Steel and Hench-Clan Burglar generate cards from another class, which makes cards like Tess Greymane and Spectral Cutlass still functional in the mirror matchup.

One might not be able to cast that spell pret turn 5 but considering that it is a 0 mana destroy a medium sized minion its still strong at that point. Will be strong in Standard and broken in wild (with swashburglar)… proably

Wing Blast for Rogue. Only one doesn’t have to wait for a minion to die to use it. Just a card in hand from another class.

If Burgle Rogue is ever gonna be a thing, this is how you do it. Makes Wing Blast and Scorch look like trash. Love it! The only downside is a lot of the old, good Burgly tools (namely Blink Fox) still use the “from your opponent’s class” wording, so mirrors will be weird and inconsistent (against other Burgle Rogues) or downright disastrous (against Rogues running a different archetype).

Eviscerate, but it’s zero mana and doesn’t need the combo. I play spectral cutlass rogue and this card with fit nicely. 5/5

This is great. Academic Espionage Rogue is a fun deck but needs some help to be really viable, and this goes a long way towards that. Great card for your Edwin VanCleef turn.

    Better Wing Blast.

This is so beautiful a great removal card for anyone who plays the best rogue deck. Where’s the fun in knowing what cards you’ll have and this is easily useable in the early game for Tess rogue. One of the downsides of tess rogue was you could have poor powered minions this is a card that can be playable as early as turn 1. Could probably get away with running hecklebot in thief rogue with this to possibly remove the opponents minion in the same turn.

This will replace Vilespine i guess. 0 cost 4 damage minion is great. Not hard to get another classes card in hand for Rogue. Walking the Plank, Eviscerate, Backstab, Assasinate and upcoming Unidentified Contract. Rogue has a lot of control tools! Fits good. 5/5

4 Damage Pre-Nerfs Backstab for whoever chooses fun rogue approach?

    That’s what I’m talking about!

    6/5! Good design.

“Pre-nerf backstab” oh man, given that the card was nerfed right after the Closed Beta account wipe, most of people don’t even remember the old version.

Even I wasn’t playing back then – I started like 2 weeks after that patch (but I was watching some streams already so I vaguely remember it).

Only works reliably in Burgle Rogue. Only damages minions. 3/5?

I don’t think that this needs to be limited to burgle rouge, blink fox and maybe 3 other activators should be good enough to run this?
