A 8/8 for 6 mana that lets you remove 25 cards from your opponents deck by turn 10, really?!?
This card has one purpose and one purpose only: F@ck Wild players!

Can we please nerf this, it gets really annoying seeing this all the time.

In theory this fits both aggro and control decks.
In practice I don’t see a zoo deck including him, and it’s not a great deck to begin with.
It will see play in meme mill decks and that’s good enough for me to give it 3 stars.

Copying this 2 times with felosophy (given that it is the lowest cost demon in your hand), playing those two copies plus the original card then copying those 3 cards with the new Y’shaarj gives you 3 more copies, so that’s what? 6 copies of this card? = 30 cards milled… damn…

I love to play warlock but this card just seems to let you win every control matchup

Maybe it’s to slow for heavy aggro decks?

    pretty strong

    5/5

for a 6 Mana 8/8, this is a powerful Card, to a point that there will even be a niche point were Warlock can use Tickatus even without it being Corrupted. We’ll just have to see what happens.

    3 Stars.

Maybe this +demonic studies would work out, right?

That card is very broken! And the shaman only gets crap card, without comment he has to fire the game designer of the shaman class as soon as possible!

    Wow!

This card is just crazy good.

A counter to Polkelt unless your opponent can draw on the same turn that Polkelt is played.

Love it. Maybe too powerful. Control warlock can easily survive to aggro and other control will just lose too this especially if used with felosophy.

Literally insane. It could be much fair if it would have the same effect trigger as Doomsayer: remove top 5 cards on the next turn, so opponent at least will have a chance to destroy it somehow.

I mean the issue is there is what? Just Twisting Nether to corrupt this really? MAYBE Malicia, but that depends on if you run the soul fragment package.

Drawing him first isn’t too big of a deal in warlock since he can be tutored with Sense Demons, but I just have a feeling this guy is going to rot in your hand for like 10 turns. Even with this you are probably still going close to even in fatigue due to Life Tap and the Sense Demons.

OH MY GOD, you gave me the idea to play Mill Warlock with this + Brann, it’ll be so fun to mill every Reno Priest or Quest Mage I see, omg I’m so happyyyy

Yeah dude… good luck drawing this AND activating it in turn 8 before quest mage actually finished his combo.

Ok so this thing is insane IF you can corrupt it, which is hard with Tickatus being 6 mana but honestly it isn’t hard enough to not justify at least running him. 4/5 because you need to play a 7+ cost on the prior turn.

Control Fatigue Warlock is singlehandedly a Tier 1 contention with this card. With all the other great Cards that have been revealed for Control Warlock this is absolutely terrifying.

    Is this a joke?

Sure feels like it, but I’m sure they have nerf plans if it goes to out of control. However I don’t see why you wouldn’t want it. In worst case in many warlock decks you auto summon it and loss the effect, but it’s still a good 8/8.
And when you play it for real, it doesn’t even need to combo with anything to be devastating for the opponent.

    Tickatus + Brann = Rank 1 Legend

      November 10, 2020 at 11:09 am

      Yeah, right.
And you can also use Felosophy to get more copies of it.
Youthful Brewmaster or Ancient Brewmaster to return it (But then you loss the 8/8 presence).

      • TheDarksider
        November 10, 2020 at 12:48 pm

And also have to corrupt it again, so I think that bouncing him might not work that well.

          November 10, 2020 at 1:01 pm

No you are probably right 🙂
But coping it and then corrupt all of them at the same time, could maybe work, in some type of deck.

Given corrupting a card replaces it with an entirely new card, I think there are definitely grounds to suppose that you wouldn’t need to re-corrupt it after bouncing.

            November 10, 2020 at 7:31 pm

Oh yeah, you’re right, I forgot that they literally transform, that’s why the new Y’Shaarj can work. So we can definitely bounce him and still get value, even though it would be too expensive to play on the same turn.

I’m just *%&$ing my pants imagining this one in golden. IDC how good it is, probably day 1 craft.

In wild you can burn half your opponents deck w/ void contract, then do some Barnes shenanigans to mill 10 cards… and if that isn’t enough, Y’shaarj can bring it back for 5 more. :-O

RIP Control/Combo decks. Aggro meta here we come.

  22. Thraben
    November 10, 2020 at 10:18 am

Well damn with Y’shaarj you can burn 10 cards from the opponent’s deck, that’s disgusting.

Warlock can hold its own till late game and stuff like Twisting nether can corrupt this while also keeping you safe. Really awesome care, 4 stars.

Brann + this turn 9, y’shaarj turn 10 for 15 card mill, 30 if brann survives.

This can’t be real, this one is just so powerfull. Dubble battlecry on this and baam 10 cards in your opponent deck is gone…

Remove top 5 cards from opponent’s deck?? W, just wow

  26. Irish Seadog
    November 10, 2020 at 10:13 am

I may be in the minority, but the ability to delete a sixth of your opponents deck (or a third in Wild) excites me. 5/5, even if somehow it doesn’t see play.

    • NinjaWXYZ
      November 10, 2020 at 10:16 am

Then you can get this back with the new Y’shaarj and burn another 5
