unpopular opinion – this is over hyped.
the limitation that you need a secret in hand to activate the effect – make this very clunky.
so, Its great (but not amazing) if you have the condition
but if the battle-cry not activates its super bad.
So overall : 3 stars.
This card does too much stuff for its cost to not be playable. Get ready to see this one a lot, especially after rotation.
Since it says “cast it” I am going to assume Hanar will trigger as well letting you get another one for free. We’ve reached a world where we powercrept Kirin Tor Mage.
5 Stars all the way, as long as you have a Secret and Shadowjelwer Hanar in your deck. It’s just that powerful of a card, especially right after you played yours Shadowjeweler Hanar, but you don’t want to play that Secret just yet. With that said, however, I think Rouges, unless they REALLY don’t want to play that one secret, or that they have Secrets of their own, they are otherwise going to play just 1 copy of Sparkjoy Cheat, instead of 2. Mind you that it’s basically a 3 Mana card, that’s perfectly giving you a Free Secret to cast, And it draws you a card, which is worth about 3 extra mana worth of Value. So, for some, to even a lot of Rouge, it’s basically a “0 Mana” 3/3, Draw a Card.
