Ironically, I’m not even sure this gets played with it’s partner cards (which *definitely* get played in some lists).

I guess it probably does , it’s just that 7 mana is so slow, and it’s conditional.
If we see some kind of slow warlock list that isn’t quest warlock (which will sometimes cycle into their shards with plot twists), I think this would definitely be included, but I don’t think it’s an auto-include in quest lock.

Surprisingly not broken like other pieces of this new archetype, but still more than solid.

Soul mechanic is VERY COOOL but I feel will be not consistent enough despite the support and payoff cards like this. You need to play the shuffle souls FIRST to get the value of the payoff cards if not your gameplan is ruined.

Preety nice and strong, but I don’t think that the soul fragment archetype will exist in a vacuum. I think of it more as a supporting package, like Galakrond is for many control archetypes or tempo ones. At the same time, this card doesn’t seem nowhere near as good as a payoff as Galakrond is for most classes. That doesn’t mean that it’s bad, though: I think that it’s hard to rate the card if you don’t play a bit with the deck to find out how many soul fragments you have in the deck at turn 7.
    4 Stars.

Note: Treat Soul Warlock / Demon Hunter as if it’s different Galakrond Deck.
I’m also Starring the Cards as if they were as a complete pack, and not as the Card itself from the Benefits of destroying the souls.

This is just your Last Resort Deck for both Warlock and Demon Hunter. It gets the job done, and it can spike much like Blastmaster Boom.

Blastermaster Boom had been seen frequently before in the past, so this should be fine.

    Yeah, 4 Stars.

a midrange lackey warlock can utilise all Soul set as second win condition and control tool

I don’t think this is the only win condition your deck should bank on, but it’s obviously a solid payoff card that goes into any Soul Fragment control deck.

So out of all the Soul Fragment Cards, I think this is the strongest and will always be the first inclusion for the package, so I’ll just post my thoughts here. I think thanks to the fact all SS-Generators are really useful, SS will see play in all Midrange and Control Decks from Warlock and Demon Hunter. While I dont know how good Control Demon Hunter stuff will be, Warlock seems promising and should make it into Tier 1 & 2 with archetypes like Quest, Galakrond and Handlock.

Likely to see use in all decks running fragments this still supports the idea of play in a slower deck since souls seem to support removals and healing.

Solid card 4 stars. I really like the fragment cards!

So should we expect a midrange deck? Or more control style since good healing?

Casual 7 mana 17/17 on board (summons 4 which isn’t hard to pull off by any means). If something carries the soul fragment decks it’s this card.

My fear is that just like librams the soul fragments will end up being decent at best and never again get any kind of support.. (assuming we don’t get new librams this expansion), this however has potential and I actually might finally try out Warlock for once. Fingers crossed I guess.

3-5 stars depending on how good the archetype is in general.

Of course a must in any soul deck, if those decks will reveal to be good

Damn it’s raining out warlock and demon hunter cards.
And this one seems alright since it doesn’t destroy them the fragments.
