Hold up, yall dont even know.

    New Jade/Miracle Rouge
Starts off as regular jade rouge, aya black paw, swarmers, and shurikens right?
Ok now you play this card and play bran (with 2 shadowsteps in hand or 1 if u can kill bran)
Then you play jade spirit with at least a 5/5 jade
Then you kill the spirit with a back stab and some damage maybe
then you play it again and again
You end the turn with a spirit in hand and bran and this card
You can do it over and over each turn u get a ton of jade
    Unbeatable deck

So to all you who say this is bad: try this i dare you!

This card can make huge comeback synergy if the affect works when they use a board clear! Does anybody know? This card is good with so many other good cards, will defenitely see play in almost all rogue decks that run Edwin. I rate this card 4.5-5 and 5.5-5 for looks, EXTRA THICC

Setting up this card is difficult, but potentially great with the right cards. Anything with Charge suddenly becomes a machine gun, but that likely won’t be a popular use of this. To be honest though, it seems unnecessary even in Miracle Rogue, and no other types of Combo Rogues have ever really been relevant. I’d like to give it a shot in Jade Rogue, but that has never been good and it probably won’t be made good with this. It has some potential as a combo piece, but it may not even be until a future set.

It’s going to be pretty poor in arena where getting that value is going to be tough without being able to build your deck around this. While it is “drawing you cards,” if those are just 1 mana 1/1s, it’s not going to be much help.

    Standard: 2/5
    Arena: 1/5

Quest rogue looks like it will make a reassurance but even with all of the “tools” they are getting with this expansion its not going to return as it once was, it looks like its going to be way slower.
what cards do you want quest to hit in a slow deck anyway?

less value from quest, more value from the cards you are using to activate quest.

So why run Quest? so you can run a dead turn one? or have a bad draw later in the game?
now quest will do one thing: synergy with 1/1 copies.

i will definitely run this card but ill put something valuable in my 1 slot thank you

This card is not that good.
    1. Quest rouge has no use for this because they can’t wait for a single card to complete the quest.
    2. Not good fot Tempo rouge since it’s too slow and doesn’t give enough tempo swing.
    3. Miracle rouge MAYBE could use this but i don’t think this card contributes enough .
The only deck that i can see running this card is some combo style rouge deck.

      I don’t know . . .

This could be pretty good in Keleseth rogue. There are a few good combos with this
      1) Keleseth turn 2, this turn three, trade Keleseth. This won’t happen often but when it does it is almost an instant win.
      2. Return any card that does anything to your hand early or late game. Examples are Bonemare, Swashburglar, Edwin, Scalebane.

So basically, this card can get good value early or late game, which is really good for Keleseth rogue.

But you might be right as well, I’m just listing some options that go through my head. Hopefully this cad works though, it seems like it would be really interesting to see.

Come on guys, this card is just really good. It’s a natural fit in tempo rogue coz everything has a good battle cry or on board effect. Not to mention that it also works well with the new 4/4 that shuffles nerubians into your deck. This card can’t be bad.

I believe this card will work well with my deck and if you play the apprentice card and play a charge minion (or something) ????????

This card and another 1 mana charge minion can instantly complete rogue quest.
    1) drop thus one on board
    2) drop a 1 mana 1/1 charge and attack into oppone3nt creature
    3) creature died and a new one appears in your hand
    4) repeat until quest is complete.

On top of this there are still other bounce effects like shadowstep, etc… Very strong legendary

I know, right! Kobold marks the era of quest rogue, I think I’ll actually just craft the quest now to be ready for the next meta! Feels bad though. I wanted to play something outside of rogue but this meta may be too strong. I hope blizzard doesnt seriously add all of this, or if they do that they ban/ Nerf the rogue quest.

The funny thing is, Blizz already nerfed the rogue quest! It will be hilarious if they are forced to do it again haha.

          November 25, 2017 at 9:45 am

          So basically…

          Play a good aggro deck.

Put 2 boars in and patches.

Play quest turn 1. Wait to draw legendary.

Turn 8 play this legendary and complete quest and now you have a 5/5 aggro deck. Quest looks broken in that deck.

          • Alex
            November 25, 2017 at 9:47 am

I mean ideally you win by turn 5 ;). But if you don’t then you just charge with 5/5’s after turn 8.

            November 25, 2017 at 8:53 pm

A good aggro deck that starts off with one cards less and has 3 dead cards in it as well..

    • Right
      November 24, 2017 at 5:33 pm

Sound great, but the problem is they still cost one mana, so you need to have 8 mana to pull it off.
But with shadowstep it could be completed on round 5 to 6. Which is nice though 🙂

    • Holywhitetrash
      November 24, 2017 at 5:33 pm

      summon prince turn 2
      summon this turn 3
      trade prince
get free prince, now you can wait for step to come around or just drop it on turn 4 and you basically won the game

As someone who has played almost exclusively rogue since the beta, this card has amazing potential. Not only in quest rogue with charge minions, but in a control rogue as well.

    Did I hear… Quest Rogue?… Dang, why’d I disenchant that card…

So far it looks like Rogue’s getting a lot of Shadowcaster-esque cards. Considering how I absolutely love Shadowcaster as probably my favorite card, I think I’m gonna really like this expansion. The card will definitely see play in basically every minion-based deck I play, and Jades and Tempo will have a field day with this. Mill will also see some shenanigans with duplicating Coldlights. I’ll see if it works in my Shadowcaster Factory deck, but meh. Idk.

Can’t wait to see the Rogue weapon. It’d be a dream come true for me if it also implemented Shadowcaster-mechanics, but doubtful. Aw well.

    November 24, 2017 at 2:42 pm

Mediocre to bad.Classic noobs though overhype it by listing a billion cards combos.
Rogue now is tier 1 for reasons unclear. The deck if highrolls is devastating yes but it does not its useless.Keleseth with shadowstwp is 1 pit of 10 games and requires curvestone to work.
Anyway even in the best version of rogue you need 1.board for this to have an effect 2.be able to trade and destroy your minions
Both of these are the opposite of a tempo deck.3 mana 2/2 on 3 is not good and trying to outvalue using this ia also not good.If you break you curve trying to make value you will lost.
Also in late game you probably wont want to trade bonemares just to be able to use them again because it makes no sense not goin face for 5.
3/5 just for the sake of some crazy rng highroll bs.

    • MarmotMurloc
      November 24, 2017 at 5:22 pm

You say that now, but when the expansion comes out you may regret dissing these cards for quest rogue. At this point, activating the quest on turn 5 is almost a guarantee, and that will be difficult to beat when bloodsail corsair gives you 10/10 stats with his buddy patches for 1 mana! I just think your a lightly under estimating this card.

      • Chocobo
        November 24, 2017 at 5:43 pm

Are you telling me you will play a dead deck just to gamble on drawing a single copy of a card that may or may not do the job.? in the current state of the game if you just play nonsense 1/1 by turn 5 you are dead.

        • MarmotMurloc
          November 24, 2017 at 6:14 pm

. Firstly let me say I really don’t want to argue over this, but this isn’t the only card that would help quest rogue that has been released in this expansion, there have been many bounce effects that would make the previously dead deck viable! If you have not yet seen the new rogue cards of this set, I would advise you to look at them , as their is certain synergy between the rogue quest and the new releases. Even the new neutral 1/1 would see play! Once more i mean no offense to you as a person, I just believe that this card could lead up to some major synergies. I do agree though, with your turn five death statement. You would definitely need eviscerate and backstab in your deck to help rogue and I speak as a zoolock player that can beat any control deck by turn five. Nonetheless, some wise person is the comments also mentioned that this card works well with a 1/1 charge and the quest, you can just keep copying on turn four till your out of mana, and by then have finished the quest by 5 while still having done good damage (you would have cycled about five 1/1’s enough to kill darkshire councilman or hit your opponent for 15 if they have bittertide hydra!)

            November 25, 2017 at 12:21 am

I have to be on Chocobos side… Maybe I do underestimate the card but as Chocobo already said you can’t make a bad deck good with only a singelton of this card. And Chocobo also said (and I think we can also all agree on this one), every fast deck like zoo or temporouge will just crush Questrouge even if you do draw her… I daubt that any rouge deck will make her ft and that this card will make Questrouge great again.

          • Chocobo
            November 25, 2017 at 12:44 am

To be honest i fail to see other decent synergy being released for quest rogue so you can help by naming some of these cards my friend.
As for the turn 5 activation you do realize you need this to stick on board for one turn to have the mana to complete the quest or drop this 3 mana , already having a charge one drop to trade the bounce it back 2 times (5 mana in total so far) but lets take best case you also have 2 shadow steps in hand for another 2 bounces. That barely completes the quest and we are talking about best case scenario here.
I feel really bad that they keep making cards that lead to highroll rogue decks. These decks seem garbage if you dont happen to draw on curve.
Tempo rogue is insta loss if you oppening hand is something like bonemare x2 and a leeroy with shadow step and then drawing a cold blood etc. And i had these types of hands many times.Really poor card design.
            +1 for zoo 😛

This comments list is going so long I’m having to reply to previous points, lol.
Again, I agree some nerfs will half to happen for the deck to love to five, but you wanted the cards for quest rogue and here they are
1.Cheat Death, admittedly worse than shadowstep, but can keep your minion coming back with a similar shadowstep effect.
2.Feral Gibberer , keeps filling your hand with feral gibberers which can used to make the quest easy.
3, Zola the gorgon (Also known as gorgonzola if you didnt catch that, there name is a cheese pun) , copies the minion with little tempo loss and normally will be giving you a one cost that you can play easily
4.Kobold illusionist, now this one you don’t lose tempo with, but it is a chance of summoning what you want. Fill your hand with feral gibberers and your good
5,Sonya shadowdancer, where the debate began, adding 1/1 copies would be food with things like swashburgler or patches, which are already 1/1s (Patches can loop with excess mana)
6, And the unseen meme synergy, king togswaggle. Give your opponents your deck of 1/1 minions! Your quest only affects your minions, and giving your deck to your opponent means they are not your minions!
          The meme synergy is real!

Can we now admit that the shaman legendary is overrated. Look at this and then look at that. The main advantage of both is the battlecry the minions have. Sure shaman also leves the minion at full attack and health, but it removes them off the board first. While this leaves them on the board with full attack and health. Also this requires you to kill off your guys for them to go to hand, but the 3 mana vs 7 mana cost is just crazy good. Ofcourse the decks they are played in are totally different, but this has so much more potential.

    • Ertje
      November 24, 2017 at 3:24 pm

Shaman and rogue play differently from each other, wouldn’t see that much use in this card if it was for a shaman.

    Great fun when :
    1) Keleseth + 2 Shadowsteps combo is not enough and you want more
    2) You summon Patches and start playing him over and over
    3) You combo it every turn with Master of Disguise
    4) You somehow have two Sonyas on board
    And the list goes on…

The patches one was meant to be some sort of pseudo aoe : you keep trading patches with enemy minions and resummoning it over and over.
And Southsea Captain is still a thing.
