None of the spark generator cards ever ended up seeing play and neither will this. Too weak overall and doesn’t even have a decent payoff to play into. No clear direction. 1/5

Hey, the stats for the Sandwasp are finally out! Now I can review this card. This is similar to Druid’s Acornbearer. It’s worse than Acornbearer in one very significant way: The initial body costing 1 mana starts your aggression right away, and if your hand is otherwise slow and awkward, then you can play both squirrels to save your turn 2.

The upside is, where Acornbearer gives you 4 attack and 3 health worth of total stats, Sandwasp Queen gives you 7 attack and 3 health worth of total stats. Better yet, you can have them all at the same time: Sandwasp Queen’s ability is a battlecry, where Acornbearer’s is a deathrattle.

So, is 3 more total attack across all the bodies worth the extra mana cost on the base body? I’m gonna say… no. Turn 1 Acorn Bearer is just that good, and fills your early mana curve perfectly. More attack is nice, but coming online one turn later gets you closer to the turn the control deck just AoEs your stuff away. One turn will sometimes be the difference between getting one attack off with your minions, vs. getting no attacks off.

So, this is not quite as good as Acornbearer. There’s a lot of room for a card to be worse than Acornbearer and still be good. 4/5

Anything that pushes aggro paladin should not be taken lightly.

A 4 mana 7/3 that is spread across 3 bodies and can be pulled out earlier than turn 4. As much as I hate aggro, this card will be an auto-include because it’s THAT good. 4/5.

Carpet pally is big it seems I’m guessing it’s possible Prelate will make a reappearance with all hand buffs and most likely way of health buff with the 1 health minions.

It’s looking like either hand buffing/aggro pally but man if the quest relies on dropping 1 health critters hand buffing may be detrimental despite it being the primary tool to prevent fan of knives from being a board wipe. Most classes have some form of minor aoe that will just clear the board for cheap. Explosive trap/fan of knives/Arcane explosion will certainly be a headache for tinydins. Hopefully Finley looks good we are supposed to see 4 Legendaries on Thursday(the heroes I hope).

Not heroes but Reno and buds as minions. I did not mean to imply hero cards, just cards for the Hero Faction this xpac. Blizz said don’t expect heroes this year of expansions.
