Hot take: this is actually a good card. The package is gonna be weird: you’ll probably need to find enough spell damage for that board clearing one, but after a few upgrades, activating this location and playing the Relic that summons 2 minions is a really nice board flood. You’d summon something like two 4/4s and then another two 5/5s? That’d be 18/18 stats for 2 mana in one turn. Post Kurtrus, those are bodies that are pretty likely to stick enough to give you extra hero power presses.

I can see a path forward for Relic DH, and this card is part of it.

This card is very good with the relics, since it also empowers the next ones twice, but I feel like this is too much of a low tempo play to see play in a deck which would need relics anyway. The only deck which might want to play relics and also this card is Big Demon DH, but that deck is already pretty bad and I don’t know if relics are the right thing to get it going. A faster archetype which might want to play relics anyway, like the deathrattle DH, also probably doesn’t want to play this location, since it’s so slow on curve. I don’t know, overall it feels powerful, but I don’t know if relics will be played at all, so there’s that.

Will this work with Ancient Relics generated by Queen Azshara I wonder?

Blizzard accidentally revealed 3 relic cards:

RELIC OF EXTINCTION (2 mana): Deal 1 damage to a random enemy minion, twice. Improve your future Relics.

RELIC OF PHANTASMS (3 mana): Summon two 1/1 Spirits. Improve your future Relics.

RELIC OF DIMENSIONS (5 mana): Draw two cards and reduce their Cost by (1). Improve your future Relics.

About the card itself : I assume Relics are going to be SPELLS, powerful ones at that. Casting a spell twice is usually good, but in this case spending 3 mana upfront for the chance to do that twice kind of sucks, UNLESS the spells in question are high in value or effect. This card is entirely dependent on the quality of em Relics, so it’s hard to rate it as is, but as a 3 mana 2 durability location so far it does not stand out to me as particularly good. Blizzard has failed archetypes before, so I’m not counting on this one to be any different necessarily. 2/5

To that person who predicted that Draka was going to be DH : I don’t think so. I believe Xymox is going to be DH, and Draka Rogue.

Well, yeah. Anyone who’s been reading the Castle Nathria murder mystery knows that all suspects are linked to the location they were at during the murder, and since Draka was in the Sinstone Cemetary, it will be a rogue legendary. Same for Xy’mox, who was in the Relic Vault

So, the time I’m commenting this relics are a mystery – but I’ll say I kinda saw it comming, based on the suspect of DH (artificer xy’mox) even tho I thought it was going be related to weapons!
And I’m already guessing: he is going to get a “battlecry and deathrattle add a relic into your hand.”

Anyone who has the balls to rate this card before even a single relic is revealed is crazy. This could be a 1/5 or 5/5 depending on the strength of the relics in question.

Though, blizzard, are you doing ok? Is this the right order to be revealing cards in?

The relics pretty much have to be AT LEAST 3 mana in value for this to be remotely playable which means they have to effectively blow Xaril Poisons or Lackeys or whatever out of the water. I say AT LEAST because if they are only 2 mana in value or whatever, you aren’t going to play a card that is 100% conditional on you drawing those cards if they aren’t worth as much or more than the initial investment of the location.

This card could be a straight up dead card on the field until you are 2/3s deep into your deck since I sincerely doubt you are getting much more than 4 “relics” (cards or generators or whatever) to go alongside this since Blizzard tends to split classes in half on themes with 5 allocated to a given archetype.
