Poisoned Blade Additional Information
- Any class that equips Poisoned Blade (Blingtron 3000) and uses their Hero Power gets the +1 Attack buff and the benefit of their Hero Power.
Why the poor base stats? It’s all about the Inspire effect, which people are probably dramatically underestimating (we’ll see). Using your hero power late game now has the possibility of triggering multiple effects, and that’s where the value will come in. It’s likely that a 2-mana hero power tap will also trigger multiple other positive effects as well, not just adding +1 to this weapon.
The pressure to clear seemingly weak Inspire minions every turn early before multiple stick will be interesting strategically and will likely destroy the face hunter/crazy aggro meta.
Quite terrible unless you miraculously draft this along with Maiden of the Lake in arena (even then it is meh). Should be 2 mana, or 3 mana +2 attack per hero power.
Here’s exactly how it will go. Equip on turn 4 for 4 mana. On turn 5 you use poison + prep + oil + Auto-barber (2 mana) for a 7/3 weapon. Turn 6 you use another Auto-barber (2 mana), poison, prep, oil, hero power, and you have a 14/3 weapon. See guys, this is going to be the best card in the game! *ahem*

I think it’s a little slow, using each turn 2 mana for giving just 1 attack and you’ll be able to do that after turn 4, hmmm i think that’ll give a lot of time to draw harrison or acidic swamp ooze

in the early game stages o hearthtone this wsa the rogu ability. equip a 1/2 weapon ( if you already have one, give it +1 attack). Glad to see they came back with a balanced version of this mechanic
If you manage to put 2 minions that will decrease your hero power by 1, does it mean that hunters and mages will have a instant free win ? Also this card can have infinite amount of attacks :O
Nope, you could see in the live stream that when you play 2 Maiden of the Lake’s that your hero power is still one mana. The card text reads, Set your hero power to one mana not decrease it by one mana
there is no card that reduces the hero power by 1. the maiden does that the hero power costs 1 not one less 🙂
also you would need the coldaran drake to cast it more then once
