I just got a golden copy of this card. Now, I don’t know what kind of deck to make with it. Any suggestions?

My Wild Deathrattle Priest says “Yes please!”

Heck, in any priest deck that uses either large minions, deathrattle minions or runs of stealing minions, this is pretty nice for late game. With a single card (and 9 mana) you get back three minions. For a often spell heavy priest deck, this is solid gold!

    4 stars from me!

All the people that rate this card low have only played against wall/res priest, and they’ve never actually played it. This card is not only fun, but also balanced. 4/5

On top of all that. Didn;t i meantioned that wall priest is getting support cards with the madame lazyl scheme? Expensive shure but wall priest does not need that much. The cancer continues in the next year. With a chance of OTK :D. At least the dragon priest archetype turned into a firetree withchdoctor RNG chance to discover a Inner fire divine spirit piece. This is what the good dragon archetype was turned into.

Mass Resurrection will not keep Wall Priest viable in Standard nor is it likely to be included in Big Priest in Wild.

For Wall Priest, the deck is losing far too much as is to keep itself viable, and a resurrection tool as slow as this is maybe on part of at least four or five the deck currently relies on.

For Big Priest, the deck already has all the resurrection options it would really want, and in fact, this may be too slow to consider anyway.

As it is though, it should be alright, and really encourages the player to use as few low cost minions in their deck as possible, and without mana cheating, it will be difficult to get an efficient amount of value out of it. A turn nine Cloning Gallery into a turn ten this is about as much mana cheating as you’ll get.

    Good News/Bad News-

Good News: Resurrect Priest is still viable.

Bad News: This card is expensive! And the late game for this card is almost terrible. Plus, it makes Wall Priest and resurrect very hard to play.

On top of that. . . I give this card 2 stars. If they add something that works like eternal servitude, then yes, this card could work in a Wall/Resurrect Priest. It’s early to say what will happen without seeing more.

How exactly is that good news? resurrectpriest has been a meta deck for 3 years now (i guess, at least it feels like it) and it’s not exactly a very satisfying deck to play against. it’s way to high/low-rolly what minions you get when and in what matchup.

I disagree with most of the comments on this card. I think this is a fine card that could see play in a Priest control deck.

This is not a good combo card. Even if you resurrect both Prophet Velen and Malygos, you only have enough mana left over to cast one Holy Smite. With the higher mana cost this has compared to Diamond Spellstone and no Radiant Elementals, you just can’t reasonably pull off an OTK combo with this.

This does not herald a return of Big Priest. Big Priest had Barnes and later Shadow Essence to cheat out its big minions, then Eternal Servitude to start resurrecting them early. Are you just going to play no minions till turn 7, then manually play Prophet Velen into some Lich King replacement into Ysera? That is not a good plan.

It could work with some version of Wall Priest, but as Orasha said, it’s gonna be a lot weaker without Shadow Visions, Oakheart, Psychic Scream and Eternal Servitude.

I mostly see this as a big spell that pops up a powerful board, like a half-power version of the N’zoth and Bloodreaver Gul’dan Battlecries, and also similar to the new Mage spell, Power of Creation. I think that’s fairly powerful as a lategame threat for Control Priest. 4/5

The text on this card doesn’t say “resurrect 3 DIFFERENT minions that died this game”, unlike the spellstone. Does this mean that it can resurrect 2 of the same minion if it died twice?

Can we stop giving Big Priest more of these cards? Developers are out of touch with their community.
    We DON’T LIKE Big Priest!!

Big Priest in Wild would NEVER play this card, and it’s too expensive to readily cheat out stuff like even Diamond Spellstone can. It’s more comparable to a card like N’Zoth, which more people seem to be fine with, and in that light, it’s alright as long as the deck play it managed to avoid playing super cheap minions.

Now, The idea that I came up with for Mass Resurrection is Malygos Taunt Priest, where you Play Damage Stagatron, Witchwood Grizzly (Or some sort of very high value card if you want) and Malygos. You play those three, let them die, rez them, and lastly Double Mind blast ez pz.

Priest has done this before, and he can clearly do it again.

      March 27, 2019 at 3:09 pm

As a 9 cost and no radiant you would get at most 1 mind blast if had coin before your opponents turn to attempt a counter also since this doesn’t say different minions if you play more than one you could get multiple copies of that. The ideal deck for this is still the big priest in wild as this could summon say 3 rag 3 10/10 or 3 obsidian long as avoid having more than one dead Barnes.

Not sure are ratings poor due to angry players who hate this kind of stuff (again) or it’s an underestimation.

Yes… people will find da wae to exploit it. But it’s finally a fair, maybe even reactive, resurrect card for a lesser power meta.

This and the Gallery can be played with some deathrattles.

Or, most likely, in taunt combo priest to resurrect Stegotron, Grizzly and Ogre.

Shout out to all the priest haters! Resurrection is what makes priest a priest in WoW and hearthstone. This is an effective and balanced card.

Playing against priest is so boring most of the times I just concede and look for another match.

One of my games against priest was like this: He was only using hero power to heal himself until he casts a physic scream on turn 7. On turn 8 he uses a shadow vision, on turn 9 Zerek’s cloning galery, which brings to the board two radiant elementals, velen, malygos and some other minions, after that, he casts two mind blasts for 40 damage.

I dont hate the priest class. I hate the cards the HS game designers are creating for this class in tha last 2 years..

  22. TheMessenJah
    March 27, 2019 at 7:49 am

This is just the same old crap.
i think most part of the HS comunity are sick and tired of this kind o decks. You get to choose 2 or 3 anoying minions and you spend the whole game getting them on board, resurecting, sumuning.. etc

I play only Priest since GvG and I HATE both big and wall Priest …. where is good old dragon Priest ?

  23. Moltar
    March 27, 2019 at 7:46 am

    Another boring OTK deck incoming?

    – Auchenai Soulpriest, Malygos, Valen
    – Mass Resurrection
    – 2 x Regenerate + Holy Smite (only 2 of them needed in any combination vs non armor classes)

    • Lluadian
      March 27, 2019 at 3:14 pm

Not that simple trying to survive long enough to do that just got rougher seeing as it’s big contender scream is rotating wild is only format where this is a big deal in 1 turn.

      • Moltar
        March 27, 2019 at 3:19 pm

Didn’t say it was good or viable, but it’s possible in one turn.

Maybe at the end of the year as priest gets more tools this deck would be possible.

          March 27, 2019 at 3:29 pm

Said it in another tag but this card is exploitable by opponent 1 Leroy Jenkins puts 2 1/1s in your Rez pool that can be both pulled since doesn’t specify different.

  24. Phoesias
    March 27, 2019 at 7:40 am

weil, for blizzard means rotation to replace old cards with new cards wich have the same / öle machnics.

    This Card so boring.

      March 27, 2019 at 7:46 am

I’m sick with this “resurection” mechanic…
It’s so boring to play against this kind of decks.

      • Lluadian
        March 27, 2019 at 3:22 pm

They have given us a few ways to screw over ressurect priests by adding crap to their Rez pool since this doesn’t specify different minions something as simple as Leroy Jenkins could screw this over with summoning 2 1/1 and something else for 9 Mana. Add in the cards like griftah pick 2 minions, mojo stop from reaching 9 Mana temporarily and the deathrattle give enemy a baby taunt. Only in wild is it a bit rougher but standard rez priest can be manipulated now.

  25. Lluadian
    March 27, 2019 at 7:16 am

I replacement for spellstone in wild priest? Sure spellstone can go up to four but as a top deck option late game this is superior since it requires no other spells to be played. So far it looks almost like priest is getting kicked out of standard.

  26. MorbidArtist
    March 27, 2019 at 7:14 am

Here’s a fully evolved Spellstone for +2 mana fee, no need to buff it in hand by those pesky spells…

    Ugh, this stuff again.

  28. YOYOIOAN
    March 27, 2019 at 7:10 am

Definitely a card you’d have to build a deck around due to the fact that you can’t choose but with the spellstone moving out Res Priest is going to need a lot more support. Now this isn’t as good as the spellstone obviously, but we’ve seen Priest do crazy stuff with Res before and Wall Priest could use the res so until a better option presents itself this card will probably see play in some form of priest archetype

9 mana is… a lot. I think it may be too much.

    • Electronick
      March 27, 2019 at 7:10 am

I think it’s that to prevent too many Maly/Velen combos. Thankfully.

      • Kookie1933
        March 27, 2019 at 7:35 am

Spell power is prevented, but don’t forget there is still wall priest out there.
And they pull the trigger next turn anyways, who cares if it is 7 or 9 mana.
        I’m feeling bad about this.

        • Orasha
          March 27, 2019 at 7:48 am

Wall priest loses Tar Creeper, the 4 mana resurrect spell, Psychic Scream, Oakheart, and, most importantly, Shadow Visions. I’m very unsure that it will work post rotation.

          • Electronick
            March 27, 2019 at 8:14 am

I hope to god that it doesn’t.

            March 27, 2019 at 9:14 am

In my point of view wall priest is a variant of divine spirit/inner fire combo. As long as these two stick in classic, any sorts of tech could help. But you are right losing scream and tar and shadow vision do make it harder to find the pieces.

        • Electronick
          March 27, 2019 at 8:16 am

At least it gives you a turn to clear the board and counter it. Big difference between one and two plus turn kill trust me. I was an Uther OTK player!
