Looking at new pally spells this looks alot better as a late game value generator.

I feel like they are probably going to screw paladin over with bad cards like this. Lynessa is better because it is at least an instant effect and would usually draw cards anyway and she never sees any play. With its weak statline this card at least needs taunt to protect face because wasting a seven mana turn on this very low tempo card is bad. Additionally, all the best paladin buffs, such as spikeridged steed are in wild, there arnt even many buffs in standard and the few buffs that do exist suck. To me it looks like blizzard still cannot design a good paladin legendary.

Looking back at this card with the newly revealed spells this card is actually terrifying for late game value just like Lynessa was. Considering without extras from generation you can knock 6 Mana off the Librams you could get back 2 3 cost heal for 8 summon 8/8 taunt, divine shield. And several of the 0 cost give minion +1/1.

Your do have to survive long enough without Shrivallah, Flash of Light, Crystalsmith Kangor, Shrink Ray, and Time Out. Paladin loses ALL and I cannot stress ALL of its control cards. I feel paladin is not going to have any chance for control paladin anymore until at least the second expansion of the year.

Not exactly true paladin still has cards like humility and peacekeeper as well as equality and the new Libram, subdue, as well as having a few cards that can provide healing. On the note of kangor that loss isn’t a big deal due to plate breaker making it a risky idea. Shirvallah was mainly only used in the otk deck same for time out they saw more play in the shirvallah deck than elsewhere.

Considering this will be around for 6 sets there’s no telling what spells pally will get.

With fact that it’s any friendly character heals to self are returned as well which could be valuable returns all buffs cast on minions which depending on what we get could be very valuable.

Overall it’s a card that would have done well in a shirvallah type deck getting back heal draw.

I’ll put this as a wait and see depending on what new spells see in expansions.

    What a boring legendary.

We have seen this or similar effects dousands of times before.

Super slow card + only usable in specific Decktypes, you must build a deck aroun her.

Maybe palable in pure Paladin with some unannounced cards.

We have never seen an effect like this. Yes, it’s similar to Lynessa Sunsorrow but here’s some things to note:

      1. This includes all FRIENDLY characters so it includes spells cast on your hero as well. That’s a big difference and makes this effect way better than Lynessa as you can still use cards that negatively affect enemies.
      2. There’s a ton of support for this archetype right now. All it needs is some push to make it a viable mid range deck that outheals aggro decks and even handles control decks relatively well. So why complain? I would understand if this was forced totem crap on Shaman like always but it’s not.
      3. While still unclear, if this returns “Time Out!” as well, it will actually be insanely good.
      4. We haven’t seen any other cards revealed to support this archetype, literally all they have to do is print one or two good enchantment/heal cards and it will make this card wonderful.
      5. This nerfs the 7 mana pool minions for evolution effects so it’s a welcome thing.

It’s ridiculous to complain about a card when you haven’t even seen the other cards yet and it supports an archetype that needs love either way. In fact it also supports the pure paladin which is a nice bonus. If you don’t like enchantment/heal stuff then you’re playing the wrong class.

It will not return time out, you have to target your hero with a spell to get it back, and with time out you dont target

This is a lot of value. Not really sure it’s going to see play for a while, but when Pally has a viable control deck again, this will be in it. Will be looking to see if we get a half-decent Spikeridged type of spell this expansion, because control Paladin without Shirvallah/Holy Wrath doesn’t have the cards yet.

    Slow. Very slow.
If it were all spells, it could be worth it. But this is buffs only.
But wait, “friendly characters”. So Healing spells to the face is included.

    Meh. Still too slow.
