There you go: the finisher of the volatile skeleton deck, and it kinda works. As a finisher, it’s pretty average, while still having some definite issues. For example, you can’t use Brann to double its battlecry, nor can you use Zola to put another copy into your hand. If you compare it to the 8 mana 8/8 which does 10 dmg to all enemies, it’s easy to see how this falls short: not only is it far easier to activate that card, but it also deals massive amounts of damage to every single enemy. Considering how random Kel Thuzad is and how many volatile skeletons you would need to make it actually powerful, I predict this is not going to be enough for an already dubious deck to work.

This card is so fun it makes me WANT the deck to succeed, and this card certainly won’t hurt that; however, if we’re being real here, I don’t really think it’s all that likely.

That said, the Mage location is probably one of the best in the game, and the 6 spell is not terrible if you have some skeletons already up. I think that Kel probably should have been a 7 drop & the 6 spell should either be a 5 cost spell or deal 3 damage @ 6. I feel like you’ll really want the cards to curve into each other or else it’s going to really have some major gaps in the mana curve.

2/5 because the deck will in fact suck, but I want to give this a 4 because of how fun it looks.

I saw all skeleton cards and I cant feel it that this will be very good.

The cards himself are pretty expensive. There are so many counter cards like devolving, silencefish and so on.

You need 15 skeleton face hits to win the game, it will be not a tempo deck because there are many control cards and the control cards are too bad that this helps to be a good.

Kel´ himself is also not good. f.e. The Shaman wolf does the same thing, is easier to fill and noone plays it. It´s a bit like antonidas last year, cool design – flavorfull artwork but a not see play effect.

    1.5/5

Nooo, why does Kel’Thuzad have to fall to a gimmick that will only see support in a single expansion…
    My favorite lich…

that said, 4/5, if a volatile skeleton deck fails, it’s not because of this card.

What is the explode effect, just deathrattle trigger?
