Eeeeh.. It’s just nice for getting a quick buff Spike for Paladin.

As for Priest, Control dosen’t want it and I think It’s meant for Faster Priest Decks.

But yeah, pretty Solid, and straightforward. 4 Stars.

Ya wrong.I have played 4 or 5 games against this card.4 he had one with death rattle summons 2 more.I was able to kill 2 of them.turn 6 since i was unable to kill it he had his whole board full of these with the death rattle summon 2 more with divine shield and 4 of them had 6/8 or something crazy. The priest had compete control over me even though i was running a control removal deck.I could have cleared the board and still been facing a whole board of these again. It happened multiple times play against priest.

I can’t play this in my pure Libram pally… I run the risk of comboing into a subdue (I can’t spare it and need both), and then end up having spent 4 mana on a 1/1 with battlecry “destroy your one of your two removal spells”. The next worse would be if it blows my board clear cards (consecrationx2, Libram of justiceX1, avenging wrathx1) before I need them… I now have 6 cards “off limits” that it can burn. The deck is currently pretty efficient in mana use since it’s just a bunch of cheap cards that you dump and then refill your hand, so even in the best case this card is still clunky.

On the plus side though, cycle could be nice in this deck to dig for your key cards, although it’s only one. But that’s really the only upside to this, libram paladín got too many other fun cards I want to try out first (a very sticky minion to buff up, a copier for my librams of wisdom, etc) for me to try and force her into it

everybody that’s complaining about how this card sucks for priest is neglecting rez priest and their buff cards

I can’t believe this is the pally/priest legendary… its essentially only good for pally. I guess it can cheat out removal early game if anything…

This seems to have a deck building restriction. Can’t judge it rn.

this card is great and underrated
you can cheat mana and cast high value spell like tip the scales

I would agree with you, however you need to run a low cost spell to activate the spell burst, and a decent number of low cost spells to activate it consistently, so I don’t know how often you’ll be able to cheat out high impact spells like we would like

Well, in Wild at least, there’d be that one “Discover a Secret” Murloc, which creates a cheap spell but doesn’t ruin hitting your big stuff. On the other hand, it’s a Murloc, so it weakens Tip the Scales. Then maybe instead go for Spare Parts? So yeah, in general, my idea would be to create cheap spells to be able to cheat the big ones out. If that is a good strategy, I doubt, since you’d be reliant on a single legendary, getting it as early as possible, and not having drawn the big spells yet…

This is a very nice card however you wouldn’t run this in a deck that has a bunch of single target removals. Looking at priests there. This works for libram pally in a sense but I don’t think you want this pulling the big heal on itself. Also I’m not sure if this card casting the spell would block the other legend from adding that spell to your hand.

This card is nuts and will instantly make Libram Paladin a contender for best Midrange Deck in the meta. With just a little bit of deckbuilding investment this card will have no bad outcomes – people are treating a 4 mana 4/7 that casts Consecration, or a 5 mana 6/8 that draws a card as a bad thing?! The highrolls on the other hand are wild. Librams alone can make this a turn 4 4/7 that summons an 8/8 Divine Shield Taunt (and hands back a Libram of Wisdom when it dies).

It might be good enough for Tempo Priest to tinker with, too. We have Embalming Ritual as a cheap activator and can cast Grave Rune or Psyche Split on itself which will lead to massive shenanigans.

If you REALLY don’t want to lowroll a cheap spell you can use Wandmaker (2 mana neutral 2/2 – add a random 1 cost spell to your hand).

I can seagro decks running this as a free handbuff plus a body

More insanely awesome Tempo Priest support. There are already no bad options. Spell list is Inner Fire, Renew, Apotheosis, Power Infusion, and Psyche Split. All are pretty dope frankly, with Renew being a low roll (essentially just add a random Priest spell… but not a terrible thing either). Psych Split and Porwer Infusion will be really excellent outcomes.

I agree. This might very well define tempo/buff priest archetype. Tempo priest got quite a few decent tools this expansion, both from warlock and paladin dual class cards.

This card limits a lot your deck construction I see it more Pally than Priest.

Awful in priest deck with removals, but I am sure other types of decks can be built. Maybe paladin can manage without removal spells. (Don’t play it much)

Seems like a good big priest card. You play this with a cheap rez effect and you get cloning gallery or more rez.

A big deathrattle deck with only minions cloning gallery could be good, but down side is that you can’t have any rez spells, because you don’t want them to trigger early. Still can probably be fun with the right minions in deck

Its ok and very safe card to have in your deck but nothing overpower and paladin need op cards at the momment

Great Card for Paladin! While you have to be careful not to run something like Subdue or Humility, this is not really a big Deckbuilding restriction. You play this, you cast Libram, you get Hand of Adal/another Libram/Libram of Hope/ectr.

Priest…yeah, no. Every single Dual Class Card for Priest is a “Oh, you can also play it in Priest. But I wouldnt recommend it though….” and this is no exception. It limits Deckbuilding way to much for Priest to fit anywhere.

Note: I write this believing that it will pull target spells first: So if you Spellburst with this and have Blessing of Kings and Conceration left in your deck, it will 100% be Blessing of Kings. Because the Spellburst targets this if possible. +
If this is wrong, it is a terrible card and will never be played, but I would be really suprised if Blizzard would program it that way.

i was thinking about that the spell is random ( so it could cast conceration over libram of hope for example) but then i mentioned that the card text says (cast a spell from your deck) not (cast a random spell from your deck). so i think you could be right about that. hope it works this way

      July 28, 2020 at 11:06 am

I didn’t even think about that.. I really hope it works that way. But sadly the wording is suggesting otherwise.. Mainly because it says “cast a spell without specifying anything”. It casts a spell and then if it can target something it will target Alura.

Also we did see it pull plague of death before Time rip so assuming the animation is accurate as it usually is, it doesn’t priorize target spells.

      July 28, 2020 at 11:11 am

Nope. Then it would have been “discover a spell from your deck or choose a spell from your deck” it’s random

  16. DeadlyBlinke
    July 28, 2020 at 10:20 am

Not really good cause it casts the spell and doesen’t copy it. 3.5 stars could have been a really solid card if it copied the spell instead.

insane paladin card. she could summon a 8/8 divine shield taunt. could be 5/8 and draw a card or at the worst case scenario be a 4/7
also has synergy with lady liadren (casue basicly you’re casting the spell on a minion)
    5/5 for pally
not that much good for priest

    • Thraben
      July 28, 2020 at 10:21 am

      Key word: could…

Paladin is much better with this but the inconsistency is pretty steep.

    Welcome to highroll Hearthstone..

I like this card alot actually, even from pure stats alone it’s a nice chunky 4 mana 3/6 and with only 5 mana you have a chance to do something awesome. The biggest issue is that it’s incredibly inconsistent and limits your deckbuilding quite a bit, priest for example doesn’t want to ruin Plague of death in the deck if this is in the deck.

Paladin on the other hand has a good chance to just run buff cards but even then what if you don’t draw this..? Your deck would be really bad.

Perharps people figure out a great balance somehow and it will be a 4 mana card. I kind of doubt that thought.. So I’ll give it 2 stars. It does have potential for the future but the limiting factors are so drastic it might not quite work.

this seems really good in paladin and really good in rez priest, but is still super risky

Priest is sucking out on all his duel class cards atm.

    • MrAranak
      July 28, 2020 at 10:09 am

The Priestlocks aren’t terrible. But this really punishes you for having removal. Buffs on the other hand will depend on if a triggered spellburst is reset on clones.
