I’m playing this in my Shudderwock Token Shaman and it works pretty well.
The most “win more” card there is.
If you’re playing Token you’d probably just play something that will make you win instead of playing a big Taunt for 8 Mana, and playing cheap Minion spells for a 9 Mana 8/8 hardly seems worth it (Certainly not worth running Mirror Image for).
Don’t see it happening.
It seems quite an interesting card. Sure, any sort of token deck could benefit from this card presence on board -imagine a 10/10 or 12/12 taunt. However, you will need to play cards before this, to provoke opponent’s playing their removal/silence cards already or it will barely have a chance to survive.
Gotta watch your back around the janitors is that a broom or is it a sword, is that a duster or a knife, is that new soap or seaforium. The most over looked job could be the most threatening to your life.
If you have minions, you probably don’t need a big taunt
I think the taunt is there for both flavour, and so that your opponent can answer this. Isn’t this just frostwolf warlord for midrange decks?

This is rather strong play this in token druid whisp + soul and likely drop this next turn. Anything running token based deck would play this as long as have minimum of 2 other minions.
“9 Mana 8/12” for Mage becuase of Mirrior Image. All you need to remember is that: If you can pull it off, it’s probaply worth it.
Unfortunately you need at least 3 Minions on the board, since Ironbark Protector didn’t see play, so why should this card be play, if your going to play 2 Minions on average?
1 Star on paper, but 4 Stars if you can pull it off.
