Ok lets look at the value of this card. It is a 1/1 murlock with deal 2 dmg to a minion. Looks like an everage lackey to me. I just don’t know why it costs 2 mana :D. The most sticky 1/1 murloc in the game so far. Sicne murloc archetype is dead in standart. And no one wants this is wild. Beast/ dragon/ murloc decks were total garbade when one night in karazhan came out. The buff cards are way overstated for today’s standarts. It will not fit that great with the failed handbuff cards. And murloc tdehunter is always better. Even if the beast-dragon-loc archetype ever becomes a thing the already existing card for it are out of date so it will have better ones. And nightmare amalgam was not a great card in my opinion. As i stated most 3 mana minions if stick can win you the game and amalgam does not do that. It is to oexpensive or both murlocs and pirates to play. Beast have tons of great effect at that mana slot, And dragons are purely OP and they use amalgam the way twilight whelp was used. To sit in your hand since if you skiped its curve play its useless and activate your dragons battlecryes if there are any. As far as elementals go tar creeper and steam surger are much much better and the second one did not even beat the competition for the slot. So overal i do not have any hopes for this to ever work.

Wow a murloc support card 😀
Are we going to see some Murloc decks in HCT Worlds and WCG 2019?
Or is it going to be Year of the Druid with all these Choose One card combos with Keeper Stalladaris?

For a pack filler it’s actually ain’t bad, hits a power level similar to Armani War Bear. If you have a Timberwolf or Dire Wolf Alpha out it starts looking especially appealing, gives you a boost to knock out earlygame taunts and leave a token behind. Rush + Deathrattle Summon is a good combination of abilities, I.E. against control decks who don’t have a board, you can toss this out knowing it will at least leave a body once removed.

Also, this card might be the single reason they nerfed Flametongue Totem to 3 mana lol. RIP.

Seems good in Zoo, may be adequate in Master’s Call hunter since it’s a 2 mana beast. I think hyper-focusing on the tribal tags is a mistake for now, what’s important is that it has an immediate board impact and leaves a body behind, which reminds me a tiny Flanking Strike somewhat. It also helps shore up the 2 mana slot which is super important in aggressive and tempo decks with Keleseth rotating out.

I like this card. Good value and some possible interesting but not OP interactions with other cards due to having four keywords (Rush, Deathrattle, Beast, Murloc). These kinds of cards lead to more organic play, and will also be played in both Arena and constructed.

With all the new 3/2s being added having a cheap removal card for them that leaves a body will see some play especially in a mid-range aggro deck for keeping field clean. I’ll give this a 5/5 for art I always wondered want would be involved in a rodeo done by murlocs if only he had a hat

My thoughts. The number of 3/2s already is high, and we haven’t even seen that much of the new expansion.

Cool card, and you’re right about the art. It’s great. Looking forward to the golden version!

I hope the golden version has the murloc bouncing around like the boar is trying to buck him off would gladly spend the dust to craft a golden for that.

Ah, but if removed once by your opponent… BOOM! another target spawns! Evil Master Plan complete!

          That’s true. 😀

Would be so funny if the Murloc is a minion that has Deathrattle: Summon a 3/2 Dragon.

Like … the Murloc gets eaten by a Dragon …

          Ah well, nevermind.

    Might be alright

Probably just an arena card though
    2/5

This is pretty decent on turn 2, especially after your opponent played a 3/2 minion. It’s pretty terrible if you draw it later in the game however; maybe a Murloc deck wants this, but this looks safe to skip otherwise. 2/5

One of the first cards in my opinion where I’m confused as to why people are hyping this card up. Maybe it’s for some sort of Murloc or Beast tpye Synergy, but even then I don’t think that’s going to happen. It’s nice on wild, because you will get the Zoo cards from Medivh’s Expansion but other then that, I need some Understanding as to what I’m missing here.

You are missing that this card should be 3 mana in order to be balanced. I predict this will be an “any deck” staple because it deletes any 2 health minion while leaving a body on the board.

And it offers Beast (read: Hunter) synergy. Revenge of the Wild comes to mind.

A 2 mana 2 attack removal and summoning a new 1/1 is cool. Rush/Deathrattle easy to trigger. Self-synergy. We will see what Murlocs can do in April. so 2 mana for 3/2 stats and a murloc on board. Pretty solid. Depending on murlocsynergy i will give 3,5/5.

    2 Cents:

Hench-Clan Hogsteed is a rather cool card that enables a bit of flexibility between owning both a minion clear in the early get-go, and an incentive of having a 1/1 Murloc attached to it.

However, how good are Murloc decks in the upcoming expansion? That is for all of us to find out, but this card is similar to a Bluegill Warrior, with the difference of Charge and Rush, and having the latter be amenable to tutoring cards such as Murloc Tastyfin. But still, having some sort of board presence at turn 2 which leaves a 1/1 Murloc is vital since usually, you would want to drop Murloc Warleader at turn 3.

A bit underwhelming but isn’t completey trash and can be an option for budget players who has the desire to play Murloc based decks.
