    It’s really like primalfin totem, where you just want to protect it so that you gain so much value over many turns. Lackey generation is great with the quest too. 5/5

    The quest is looking good, this card might just make it into the quest list. I estimate that deck to be around tier 2.
    3/5

    Well, after they’ve released the mission of the Shaman I prefer the rat because it is a battlecry and faster.

      Depends on at what point it’s played at earliest play of turn 1(coin) this beats rat at turn 2 this is about even with rat but still slightly better. Once you hit turn 4 and on rats better.

      My reasoning is based on when lackey is playable turn 1 you can’t play lackey from rat turn 2 you’d have to coin out the lackey. Played within first 2-3 turns this has possibility of giving 2 lackeys or one lackey and forcing your opponent to either use removal or play something to get it off the field.

      Thats like saying murloc totem is worse than a 2 mana alley cat cause the alley cat gives you the effect immediately granted the 1 health off makes it a bit weaker but still, its better than cable rat cause it forces removal from your opponent

    This is actually a decent card guarantees at least 1 lacky possibly more if opponent can’t answer quickly. Also this supports an aggro shaman outside of the evolve lacky the others can impact the board instantly and are cheap units to combo with the death rattle spells to keep a full board to smash with bloodlust.
    Overall I’d place this at 4/5 since this this becomes a high priority to get it off the field in early game possibly wasting a tech card.

    If you only get one lackey off this card, it’s trash, but if you get two or more, it’s fantastic. 3/5

    Better than EVIL cable rat, it demands an answer or gives you extra value if it doesn’t get answered immediately. Then again, I’m kind of expecting lackeys to get weaker overall; new lackeys should be announced, and I expect them to be weaker than the current crop, because of the current power level of lackeys in Rogue. 3/5

    Sounds overrated to me… as if people underrated lackeys back in rise of the shadows and are now overcompensating…

    2 health => 2.5 / 5

      “But just because it’s a weakness doesn’t mean they can’t get some OCCASIONAL card generation”. Sure, that’s why Mind Blast and Vanish were Hall of Famed. Because Priests and Rogues couldn’t even have an occasional card shoring up their “weakness”. It’s getting stupid, really.

    Interesting, not quite sure how you’d keep it alive though. And you’ll really want to keep this alive, otherwise it’s worse than playing EVIL Cable Rat. Maybe Overload and Murloc Shaman, where there are too many snowbally minions and your opponent can’t clear them all?

      People saying you have to get more than one out of it to be better than EVIL Cable Rat because of the stats are ignoring the fact that the rat doesn’t force a response; it’s just a token once its Battlecry has taken effect. If the opponent can kill it with a minion, that is at least a soft-Taunt effect, which is about balanced with Rat, but if they have to use a spell, or spend 2 Mana on a Hero power to kill it in conjunction with a 1-Attack minion, then you’ve gotten much more out of the card than with Rat.

        Also, since Quests are making a comeback, many people will be spending their Turn 1 on that, which makes it that much more likely that if you drop it on 2, you’re either going to get 2 Lackeys out of it or force your opponent to spend a card and a turn removing it with a spell.

    EVIL Totem should be alright, especially if you can manage to generate more than one Lackey off of it.

    It still is generally weaker than Manatide Totem, so I can’t really see when you’d play this over that too often. Maybe, you’d play both if there’s some new and decent totem synergies.
