No, it’s so much better than apothecary that isn’t even close to an accurate description. Lower mana cost means you can play it with more stuff so you’re more efficient in gaining the “health” and then clearing the board (I.e. you can play it with primordial drake). The stats are also much fairer for the mana cost, and you can play it at any time for the effect and just gain 2,4,6 armor just because you feel like it and because of the fairer stat line for cost still not even lose too much tempo.

Please. Re-read my comment in which I explained its better for more than the effect being slightly better. Just to give you an example of what this guy can do that apothecary couldn’t: this+brawl+axe or shield slam to remove what’s left. This+flurry to clear board and you still have mana to develop. Not to mention just purely from a tempo standpoint: 2-mana 2/2 better than a 5-mana 4/4.

Its a shame you are the only one mentioning this.This minion is nuts.
If you are against aggro 4 armor would be minimum which is not bad along a 2/2 body.
But where this shines is combos.
It is also a card that the more the opponent invests on his board the better it gets , kinda like spreading plague.With just 3 on opponents board this and reckless can deal 6 damage for total of 5 mana.
Shield Slam will also see a come back.
The question is can a control warrior outvalue upcoming Warlock ?
