Whenever you spend a Corpse, one of the numbers of the card (damage, number of Souls, Souls Attack, Souls Health) goes up by 1. The number of Souls is capped at 7 (full board). Corpses spent while this is in your deck and not hand still count.
You can't randomly discover this card - you will need to put it into your deck (Rainbow Death Knight) to play it.

Based on the preview, these upgrades can include keywords as well as just stats. Will it be good enough to justify losing not only 3-rune, but even 2-rune cards? I'm skeptical but nonetheless excited to give this a go, it makes Rainbow DK seem even more fun.

I'm going to say it. This card is probably unplayably bad to put in a deck. Rainbow has no access to efficient ways to spend corpses (Marrow Manipulator/Marrowgar) outside of discovering them so this isn't getting very big or worthwhile. Triple Unholy has access to better spenders and can't make the giant cheap consistently so I don't see this happening.
This is definitely a pretty good discover option off Frost Strike or the Nerubian though (especially the latter if you can get it for 8).

Nightfall
It's very good as a win condition or board filler for rainbow decks. Might need some more cards to work optimally, but I expect this one to be very strong somewhere along the coming 6 expansions. As such, I can't help but rate it accordingly.
4.5/5 if enough support comes along in future expansions, but for now it's 3.5/5 due to lack of great corpse spenders for rainbow decks.
