This should have costed 1 mana. Unstable Evolution just seems so much better, and it’s just an OK card in Constructed. By costing 1 mana I could have included it in an Odd Overload Shaman jank deck (this deck is missing Ancestral Spirit from the original Overload Shaman to attach to the Snowfury Giants). It would have made Snowfury Giants spawn Mountain Giants on death, which would have been sweet. Oh well.

Glad to see Evolve being a continuing theme for Shaman (this will be around after rotation), but this wayyy feels like a worse Unstable Evolution, which was already an off-meta card. This gives you that nice stickiness to the board, but costs 1 more, leaves the minion vulnerable to silence/transform, and doesn’t have Echo, which is HUGE. Unstable Evolution was at its best when you could reroll a bad evolve, or slap it across your entire board. Best case scenario for this card is something involving a 0-cost Corridor creeper, Electra, and Zentimo, but it just feels way too finicky and unimpactful.

it kinda fills th3 same purpose for a tokeny shaman deck as the treant deathrattle card for druid only instead of consistently summoning 2/2s on deathrattle you can summon more stats although that widespread type effect would only work with zentimo and possibly electra as well

This feels like it will be good off of Hagatha but I can’t see if being a card any current or nascent Shaman decks want to play right now.

Big Bad Voodoo is both better and worse than Ancestral Spirit. In the end, it should be about as good as that card as in a bit too situational to see natural play in constructed.

In arena it can be better, in constructed it will most likely just be worse and won’t see play. A random card, even if it’s a tiny bit more powerful, tends to be worse than a specific card.

In constructed you only run ancestral spirit for a specific combo, this is a delayed evolve. Evolve is terrible if it’s a one-time single target action you take. When played from a minion(4m-4/5), multiple minions or echo it can be really good.

Now that’s a good shaman spell. Useless for silence of course but you can cast this and trade pretty efficiently. Zentimo will cast this on 3 of your minions too…

You can better play ancestral spirit instead of this…

I feel like ancestral spirit is just better in most cases. In arena this seems like a great card, but in standard you normally want to ressurect a specific minion (like shamans giant, which you can combo with spellstone) rather than a random minion that costs more.

Look at it this way though anything that cost 10 when it dies is guaranteed to bring an 8/8 to the board and 7 cost and 9 cost might be worth a try.

That’s true, maybe some giant-combo shaman can use kind of like 2 extra ancestral spirits, in case they need more or dont draw them, but im not sure. dont really think this will see much play, but only time will tell.

You missed one thing as well ressurects can stack so if you used ancestral AND this that’s 2 minions for 1 death.

that would be 4 cards of your 30 cards, that can potentially be dead/terrible cards.
if you want to use both you can only play a 6 mana minion. if you top deck one with no board you can only put it on a totem (pray for doomsayer)
