    Wow, this card is just…

Where do I start? This is such an AWESOME effect!

Do I think it will see play competitively? Definitely not. But am I going to include this in almost all of my Priest decks? Definitely so.

This could potentially bring about some new kind of Fatigue Priest. I don’t think it’s likely, but you never know.

I’m nearly an exclusively priest player and I love to steal opponent’s cards and minions.

With that in mind, this is the first priest legendary I’ve been sad to see.

I like to steal cards into my hand, I love to steal minions and I love to shuffle KEY cards into my deck…

But to shuffle every card into my deck?? I don’t want your lame cards too >.>. I can do without shield slams and weapon buffs and their whole deck…..

    Sad day.

People who think this card is unplayable/bad must never play control decks or something

This card pretty much wins you the game against

Control paladin, control warrior , control shaman, quest warrior, priests that don’t run this , control Hunter (if it’s a thing), and any other new control decks that’s win condition is to out value you.

If you face aggro, just don’t play this, if you face mid-range just don’t play this until you have stabelized and are in good spot

If you know you’re facing a control deck like control warrior play this card turn 7 if you can and just win the game

This is easily the highest valued minion hearthstone has ever seen and it’s under stated by like 2 mana and people think it’s unplayable… Ffs

      July 31, 2017 at 8:28 am

You think this wins you the game against quest warrior? A deck where the goal is to survive till you get the weapon and then to endlessly go face. Not only that, but you think that you can just automatically win any control match up now that you have stitched up two control decks? This card is slow, REALLY SLOW. If end up only drawing their anti aggro tools in the late game you lost. This card is fun, but I’m not counting on it to win me match ups anytime soon.

      • Brann
        July 31, 2017 at 8:45 am

You’re right it’s really slow, but I think you’ll be surprised

Against a quest warrior you’re going to have a full hand of cards (or close to it) it’s not like when you’re drawing cards from your opponents deck, you’re going to be top decking with no cards in your hand

I play a lot of control priest and I tend to beat quest warrior 3/4 times usually by out valuing them in the fatigue, it’s not like the deal 8 dmg is going to be hitting you in the face every turn
Unless you’re terribly unlucky (I run a lot of healing as well-fks over mages too)

And for all the anti aggro tools you could draw from their decks , there are a lot of really powerful minions and spells you could also get

In constructed unless you are like rank 25 most people tend to build their decks with impactful cards

        • Tyramir
          July 31, 2017 at 9:08 am

What I think you’re overlooking is that you beat said Quest Warrior using a Priest strategy, by healing your face a ton with healing you run. And now you’re going to be diluting your deck with someone else’s win condition, without the actual Quest itself, and probably cards you’ll have difficulty activating.

Using the example of Quest Warrior, how often are you going to use Brawl, knowing you’re going to get burned to the face? There’s a dead card. What if you get Shield Slams, but no way of armoring up? Whoops, more dead draws. Acolyte of Pain, when you need a finisher, and you’ve now drawn your fourth in a row, because since you’re playing Control, you decided to run two of those as well.

Don’t get me wrong. I love Priest. It’s my favourite class. And I’m going to have fun with this card. But let’s be realistic. It’s going to hurt you as often as help you.

          • Brann
            July 31, 2017 at 9:39 am

            Yeah true that makes sense

You could draw dead card after dead card, but that’s just bad RNG and in control match-ups you normally always have 7-10 cards in hand most of the time, so you could still be holding onto answers from your own deck

But ya, you’re right, this could prevent you from getting the cards you need in your deck in certain match-up, that was prob blizz’s intended price for even making this card

I think this will be a card people need to learn how to use, like in which match-ups it’ll be most effective in

Again quest warrior this could end up being pretty bad, same with some other control match-ups like Jade druid

But you do get the choice of when to play it, so against say quest warrior, you could drop this at the end, when he only has 5-10 cards left and add +5-10 more cards to your deck to give you the upper hand against fatigue

            May 6, 2018 at 7:06 pm

Dude. My two main decks are Quest Warrior and Control Priest. I would love nothing more than to sit behind a couple Tar Lords and Direhorns and heal bot until I win

          • Travis K Boyd
            May 6, 2018 at 7:09 pm

I think a Quest Warrior/ Control Priest mash up would be the best deck in the meta. Both decks specialize in what the other one lacks the most. Give me that deck every game I play I’m down let’s go

    • Something
      July 31, 2017 at 10:30 am

How does this outvalue the opponent? It’s a 7 mana 4/6 that has zero immediate impact. The only use this card has is winning fatigue wars, and control decks nowadays have more ways to kill you than fatigue

      • Brann
        July 31, 2017 at 11:03 am

There are a lot of value cards with no immediate impact on the turn they are played, it’s only 2 manna undervalued for it’s stats and preists don’t have any good 7 drops as is

This is only 1 card, alone it’s not gonna beat other control decks, but your deck is gonna have other win conditions and ways to kill your opponent too

This also can give you, your opponents win conditions as well

It’s not like your getting an extra 10-23 cards that do nothing

  6. Tyramir
    July 31, 2017 at 6:17 am

This card is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot of ridiculous things in Hearthstone.

That said, it’s going to allow for some…. interesting games. Is it playable? Probably not. That body is trash for a 7 drop, and it doesn’t directly affect the board upon being played. Odds are, you’ll drop it and then promptly lose the game due to a super shitty tempo turn.

But I’m already imagining the Pack-Off Elise Priest Mirrors with Shadow Visions. And while that kind of thing isn’t for everyone, I find it hilarious and can’t way to try it out.

  7. Subetai
    July 31, 2017 at 5:50 am

Really disheartened to see this card. I was already sick of Priests playing my Legendaries back at me, now they’ll have my whole damn deck. Between Thoughtsteal, Glimmerroot, and all their card draw Priests will just outlast opponents without even having to think. Maybe it’s supposed to be “hand”?

We will need to wait and see how the environment will shift with the new set. In a heavy controlish environment this could be a viable card if dropped on a good timing. Dropping him early will fill your deck reducing chances for a good draw.

    • Oliver Howard
      July 31, 2017 at 1:55 pm

No, because Prince gives you random shit – this gives you cards that have been chosen to be good, by your opponent. There is a a difference. If you strategy is to play your opponents deck and the rest of your deck is heals and card draw, this could work. Sure, more of a fun or meme deck than serious, but not complete trash.

      • Bythos
        July 31, 2017 at 2:21 pm

If your strategy is to play your opponents deck than you have no strategy.

  20. MagicHearth
    July 31, 2017 at 1:35 am

I can see this played in a control meta

Contro priest vs Control warrior. Warrior with Dead Man’s Hand, priest copy the card. Infinite value for both decks, 3 hours for game.

I like the fact that blizzard try to push control decks but the problem of this is that Jade Druid is a infinite value control deck that always will be faster than the other ones.

    • KLGamet
      July 31, 2017 at 2:05 am

The game has a limit of 89 Turns. On turn 90 both players die and the game ends in a draw.
I don’t think you can even play a 1h long game except both players rope every turn.

  21. Mrthejazz
    July 31, 2017 at 12:51 am

So I’m seeing this set having a lot of high value low tempo cards. Control is going to be everywhere. All of the deathknight cards by their nature will be control and aggro decks are going to be much weaker.

Fatigue could be amazing in a meta like that.

This is slow, but so is the whole set. It will see play

    • Syrea
      July 31, 2017 at 2:33 am

Or nothing will see play because unless control decks become op, and these cards are not enough, aggro and midrange will still be better

      • Kenchilada
        July 31, 2017 at 5:04 am

Midrange died with Jade rogue in Gadgetzan, the only applicable midrange decks are quest warrior and Jade Druid, but they’re written off as control decks just because they’re great against other control decks and only sometimes beat aggro. Kinda saddened about that because midrange and Control are my favorite archetypes, aggro is just too braindead

  22. faith
    July 31, 2017 at 12:37 am

Oh dear. Well, if control matchups were still the thing they were in Old Gods or Explorers’ League, this card would kill any type of fatigue warrior/mage/whatsoever. Obviously the value is absolutely broken, but with the current game state it seems a bit too slow, especially considering its mana cost and the loss of tempo. It’s really difficult to evaluate, we’re gonna have to wait until the set comes out and hope that they created some device to make these crazy ideas work.

  23. Meh
    July 31, 2017 at 12:20 am

Occasionally I’ve run into steal your shit priest on latter (i.e. 2x mind control all the hard removal that can be jammed in 2x faceless manipulators and anything else you can throw in to steal cards). Just trying to wrap my head around what that kind of deck would be like running this. And people thought Rouge was the class stealing class.

  24. Xix
    July 30, 2017 at 11:40 pm

So if this is a golden card, it will shuffle an entire golden deck into your deck? XD

Hey Lich King! I like your deck! But I think it looks better in GOLD!

Seriously if you just make a deck full with 1-3 cost cards for survival and draw, (death, pain, Oracle) And at turn 6 you Hemet your deck, leaving only this card in your deck so you draw it on curve the next turn.

I mean you could redo every adventure boss this way and have a fun experience. And on ladder it could be a nice meme deck, like renounce darkness for warlock.

It would be a hell for a match-up against fatigue warrior when booth players get 2x copy of deathmans hand. A game like that might never end…..

    • Pszabifero
      July 31, 2017 at 12:41 am

At least it ends at turn 50.

  26. Djelibaebi
    July 30, 2017 at 11:33 pm

remember mill decks? remember that archaic, hard to pull of win condition that was born out of desperation and just like a sheer force of will.

  27. Wywern
    July 30, 2017 at 11:26 pm

This and dead man’s hand almost seem like penance for jade idol. As far as this card’s viability is concerned, you certainly won’t be losing value games other than against really good dead man’s hands.

Excited to see thoughsteal/mind vision into dead man’s handing this, with the obvious consequence being a 300 card deck.

    • Xander Raidon
      July 31, 2017 at 12:57 am

60 cards is max in a deck.

    • Foodbeard
      July 31, 2017 at 5:28 am

This still loses to Jade Idol. They will be dropping 12/12, 13/13 golems and you’ll be starting at 1/1.

      • Brann
        July 31, 2017 at 9:10 am

yeah but that about the only control deck that’s a counter to this card but again other slower control decks like control warrior this cards gonna be a nightmare

        • Nitrogent
          July 31, 2017 at 9:59 pm

          Quest mage will win too

  28. R. Reagan
    July 30, 2017 at 11:26 pm

I feel this card could be rather good if decks like control Paladin and control Warrior become prominent again, which by the looks of it is what Blizzard is pushing for. If you’re able to drop this turn 7 against a heavy control deck it could be amazing, not only allowing you to keep yourself from fatigue for longer, but also the possibility of giving yourself more chances at things like board clears, single removal, stalls, etc.

Even if the meta doesn’t become mostly slow, this card is still just a great meme and I can’t wait to see what kind of decks people make with it.

    • Meh
      July 30, 2017 at 11:35 pm

I honestly thought this card was fake or a joke when I first saw it, but holy shit this is the real thing. If somehow the meta is so unbelievably slow this card could be pretty viable. I think Blizzard really is trying to make people calm down about the elephant in the room that is Jade Druid. Honestly this care essentially could turn your Priest deck with already good removal into a Jade Druid deck if you play it at the right time. I doubt this card will see much play other than in meme decks, but at least if the meta gets slow enough Jades Druids won’t just dominate the scene.

    • Brann
      July 31, 2017 at 9:04 am

This is easily the most overpowered value card hearthstone has ever seen

You card could easily get you over 50% 15 cards worth of value from your opponents deck

and it’s only 2 manna over valued to play stats wise

This card is gonna single handily gonna fuck most control decks

  31. Harley

Don’t worry optimistic player, they’re about to release the legendary Litches the lich Pirate. 10/10 charge for one mana, that instantly comes from your deck to play when the game starts. And has 4 layers of divine shield and mega wind fury.

So right off the bat, this is one of the funniest cards I’ve ever seen. You literally get to role-play Rafaam.

“I like your deck. I think I will TAKE IT!”

Ooooookay. So is this card actually good? Obviously the body isn’t so great. Worth 5 mana if we’re being generous. Similar to Dead Man’s Hand, this card does not actively affect the board or your hand. On the upside, unlike Dead Man’s Hand, it does have a body attached to the “deck buff” effect, so it doesn’t do nothing when you play it. If Fatigue Priest is possible, this deck might happen. Though shuffling your opponent’s deck into your deck will make it less likely to get the control cards you want, which may complicate your plan. You want to play this card early-ish to make sure you steal enough cards from your opponent’s deck to make a difference in fatigue, but not so early that you saturate your deck with shit you don’t need.

TBH, I’m not convinced that Fatigue Priest can ever be a thing again. Getting Dragonfire Potion is helpful, but Lightbomb was probably better. Losing Justicar and Entomb also hurt them. We’ll have to see, but I have a feeling this archetype isn’t going to work again, at least not with what we’ve got. Maybe the rest of the set will change my mind on that, maybe the Priest Death Knight will be the answer to that prayer, but for now we can only be sure of one thing: it’ll be damn good for some Trolden videos.
