Top Standard Legend Decks From Saviors of Uldum – Week 13 (November 2019)

I bet that after right after BlizzCon most of you aren’t thinking about playing current meta deck, but already theorycrafting Descent of Dragons builds (and getting hyped to play Battlegrounds on Tuesday). Sadly, there’s still a ~month until the new set launches, so for now we need to get back to reality.

And sadly, reality is still brutal. The numbers haven’t improved – Shaman is still 1/3 of the meta, and Desert Hare + Mogu Fleshshaper + Evolve is still winning games on Turn 4. Shaman’s win rate has dropped slightly, because people have generally optimized their builds to fight against that class, but it’s still the most dominating force in current meta. Unless they announce some changes next week (which I doubt), we’ll most likely have to face it for another month.

Looking at the Descent of Dragons cards revealed so far, I’m already slightly scared that the meta won’t change for better, though. While it will always be great to see some new decks, strategies and so on, not to mention that I like to play Dragon decks, some of the cards revealed already seem broken. And that’s just 36 out of 140 cards we’ve seen. Of course, maybe they threw their big bombs at the start and rest of the set will be more mild, but if the trend continues, we might see a Kobolds & Catacombs level of power. Of course, that’s only the worst case scenario, and I hope that it won’t happen! I’ll also have my first card review up early next week if you’re interested.

Below, you will find a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.
