Giantfin absolutely floods the board with minions. You’re looking to keep the minions to a minimum while you compile a board of your own. Look to keep early board removal like Arcane Missiles, Arcane Explosion, Doomsayer, and Explosive Sheep. Volcanic Drake can be an awesome card and helped carry me to victory. You’re often sweeping the board of 6 – 7 minions so you’ll nearly always get him on the board for free. Summoning Stone should help finish the job for you once you’ve gotten control of things!

Good job on the deck list. Got it on my third try although I never drew summoning stone. Instead I beat him with fatigue.
I used a rogue list with a lot of board clears to beat Giantfin:
2x Backstab
2x Preparation
2x Blade Flurry
2x Fan of Knives
2x Tinker’s Sharpsword Oil
2x Dark Iron Skulker
2x Vanish
2x Explosive Sheep
2x Wild Pyromancer
2x Volcanic Drake
I forgot what else but those are the main cards. I think I also used healbots but they really didn’t matter you just have to clear his board every other turn/every turn.
I beat it first try with this deck. Thalnos is probably good but I didn’t have him. Azures are too expensive to run.
Worked like a charm. 3rd attempt. I kept missing AoE draws, but that was just bad luck. Blizzard Turn 6 & 7, Flamestrike Turn 8, and Summoning Stone into Murloc Tidehunter FTW!
