Game 1
Chakki – Ramp Druid vs. Realz – Midrange Shaman (Deck wasn’t shown on stream)
A Wild Growth out from Chakki, and a Mana Tide Totem from Realz. Chillwind Yeti comes out which takes out the Mana Tide Totem. Chakki gets an Innervate into Ancient of Lore to draw some cards. The Shaman is just unable to get anything on the board. Chakki’s board is littered with cards, but a Spell Power buffed Lightning Storm into a Earth Shock clears the board. Unfortunately, it’s too little too late for Realz and loses to Force of Nature.
Result: Chakki Wins (1 – 0)
Game 2
Chakki – Ramp Druid vs. Realz – Miracle Rogue
Realz draws the Gadgetzan Auctioneers he’ll need early on and is piling up combo pieces. Chakki gets a Sunfury Protector and Defender of Argus on the board. Auctioneer comes out for the Rogue and draws him some cards. Chakki quickly takes out the Auctioneer with a charged Druid of the Claw. Chakki starts applying the pressure with another charged Druid of the Claw, Defender of Argus, and a Harvest Golem. Loot Hoarder gets a Cold Blood and takes out the Druid of the Claw. Realz is able to draw a ton of cards off of his second Auctioneer. Chakki taunts up, but Realz is able to deal with it due to superior card advantage. Realz drops a huge Edwin VanCleef on the board. Chakki deals with the board, but knows Realz has lethal in his hand and concedes.
Result: Realz Wins (1 – 1)
Game 3
Chakki – Face Hunter vs. Realz – Miracle Rogue
Chakki gets an ugly hand with two Hunter’s Marks against the Miracle Rogue. Realz throws out a comboed Cold Blood on a Loot Hoarder to really pressure Chakki early. Chakki’s forced to burn a Kill Command on the Loot Hoarder. Again Chakki is forced to make a sub-optimal play and uses Starving Buzzard and an Unleash the Hounds with only one creature on the opponent’s side. Realz is tossing a bunch of damage Chakki’s way and gets him to 13. Chakki is able to reveal a Conceal-ed Auctioneer with Flare and takes it out with a Hunter’s Mark into Kill Command. Chakki casts a Misdirection, and Realz misplays by attacking to the face with his dagger which doesn’t trigger the trap when there’s an empty board. This makes it so Realz can’t cast Leeroy Jenkins and gives Chakki the win!
Result: Chakki Wins (2 – 1)
Game 4
Chakki – Face Hunter vs. Realz – Token Druid
Realz brings out the rare Token Druid to attempt to take out the Hunter. Chakki goes for a three draw Scavenging Buzzard into Unleash the Hounds. Realz is able to maintain board control, while Chakki is unable to mount his typical aggro minded strategy. Chakki gets another three cards from the second Scavenging into Unleash combo. Realz is able to clear the board with a Swipe to the face that does one damage to all of Chakki’s one health creatures. Chakki gets Realz down to 5, but a charged Druid of the Claw into Savage Roar finishes off Chakki.
Result: Realz Wins (2 – 2)
Game 5
Chakki – Aggro Zoo vs. Realz – Token Druid
Realz gets an Innervate into Keeper of the Grove which takes out a Flame Imp. Zoo keeps on trucking and gets board control with three minions on the board. Another Keeper of the Grove for Realz that takes out another creature. Oh wow, a Knife Juggler comes out and daggers a charged Druid of the Claw taking it out. Chakki decides to look for the finish, but comes up a bit short. Realz is in a dire situation at 5 health facing a strong board from Zoo. He’s able to clear most of the board and gets out a taunted Druid of the Claw. He survives Chakki’s turn and Realz wins with a Savage Roar! Great Game!
Result: Realz Wins (3 – 2)
Mana Grind goes up 2 – 0!
