Zetalot has done it again! He hit #1 on the EU Legendary Ladder with this Control Priest deck. The deck actually makes use of some TGT cards in Holy Champion and Justicar Trueheart. Holy Champion can actually provide Priest with a bit of burst potential if combined with a board and Circle of Healing. Justicar Trueheart is helpful in control matches, and could potentially save you against aggro.
Edit: It should be noted that when Zetalot was facing a lot of aggro decks he had two Deathlord in place of Thoughtsteal.
I have Ysera and Sylvanas and around 1600 dust and i want to craft either Vol’jin , Justicar or Confessor Palatress
Justicar fits in other decks, but if you’re an avid Priest player than I would probably go with Vol’jin.
I have Dr. Boom and Loatheb. Which legendary i craft first: Justicar, Sylvanas or Ysera?
Sylvanas is probably the most versatile.

I’d go with Ysera because it fits in other decks.
Loving this deck, climbed all the way to rank 14 from 21 with only 2 losses. And I don’t usually put the time in to go much further than rank 18

Very nice deck, the double lightbomb actually provides somawhat of a chance against the upcoming demon handlock.
Very cool to see Control Priest still having an impact on ladder! I think it’s one of my favorite deck styles to play, just lacking some power currently. It’s definitely still viable though, at least in the right hands, and that’s promising.
The only problem is aggro decks they are beatable but not easy you get down low health is difficult to get back out of the whole but I’m by no means the best player but so far I got from rank 18 to 15 without losing a rank and some of the losses I had is because I didn’t know how to play certain cards correctly
No taunt minions in this meta seems like suicide…
Feels like any aggro deck would completely demolish this deck. I’m looking at you secrets paladin.
He runs deathlords over thoughtsteals when aggro is common. Secret paladins get handled by this version fine with the lightbombs and pyros.
I played this with 1 Deathlord over 1 Thoughtsteal and I went 13 wins 1 loss and then got legend. I thought the exact same thing. How do I win without Belchers? But trust me man, you really don’t need it. I farmed Aggro/Secret Pally and Hunters.
he played deathlord instead of thoughtsteal when he was facing a lot of aggro 🙂
He switched to Thoughtsteal before he got #1.
