Deck Import

This is a pretty cool murloc deck by Thijs. It’s not full murlocs, you play other strong Paladin cards with the stronger murloc cards. This allows you to build up to an OTK turn with Anyfin Can Happen. You get seven of the murlocs back that died this game, so you could potentially get Old Murk-Eye, Murloc Warleaders, and Bluegill Warriors which adds up to a huge amount of damage.

Watch him play it here.

Second Keeper of Uldaman? I’m not sure.

      – you could add 2 Quartermaster to push for damage.
      – you could add 2 sunwalker (not so good since it cots 1 more but it does the deal)
      – you could add 1 azure drake and 1 healbot (to stay aggresive but defensive the same time [hybride] )
      – you could just yolo and add 2 Avenging Wrath

at the end belcher is important and does his role good so i would aim for it.
(these are only my suggestions if someone has other ones feel free to say it 🙂 )

I was short a warleader and a coghammer so I was running it with a 2nd Anyfin and a Murloc Knight. I just crafted a golden warleader (golden murk-eye, woo) and a coghammer. However, I really like two Anyfins, has one me a few control matchups. I’m thinking of swapping out one Piloted Shredder for a 2nd Anyfin. I’m thinking the deck is heavy on turn 4 plays and that might be ok. Thoughts?

Hi, I was thinking that maybe Tirion Fordring would be better to reach the state of the game where you can actually use the OTK combo.

I have played 7 games with this deck and went 7-0(w-l).
It is a midrange paladin with a max burst of 30 damage for 10 mana.
    Thx for the deck

Did have problems, too. Will try a version with two Murlic Knights. Knight does not fully destroy the Anyfin combo – and does have own synergies. Waiting for a turn-10-event as the main win condition is not always helpful! Combination with Murloc Knight opens more options. I saw – several times – contrahents conceed, after witnessing the Knight spawning another one.

This deck is amazing. I have played pally from the beginning of hearthstone and with the mid range this deck has i have a 75% win rate. I tried the other one on here but failed miserably.

Might possibly be the worst deck I’ve ever played. Cant beat aggro, Can’t beat control.

You probably actually drew your Anyfin. I played control 2-3 games and never drew it and promptly died. Against aggro this deck is a joke. Against control you need to draw Anyfin or you die.

You think replacing the Zombie with another Anyfin is viable?

I’ve seen people playing double Anyfin so that works, but Zombie Chow is really good against aggro so it will weaken that matchup.

I just realized u guys should definitely take 2 everyfins since it is hard to get the OTK with 1 copy cuz u need all the 7 murlocs to die. But then if you take 2 and u use the first one, the second one will actually revive every murloc twice cuz they died twice so u will have a guaranteed huge burst. U can take away coghammer or something i don’t think it’s that useful

what is replacement for coghammer and second peacekeeper?

Never thought it would be as good as it is. Bluegill warrior is basically a bash, the murloc warleader can be a plain 3/3, which is decent, but also sometimes act as an oldschool shadowsun cleric. The only card i am in some sort of disbelieve in is grimscale oracle, which – besides contributing to the OTK – does little for the deck. maybe some sir finley could replace one.

I’ve watched a lot of streamers play similar decks and they’ve seemed to be really cool. Too bad I’m missing one murloc warleader and an aldor tho.

Surely you are missing Old Murkeye too then?

You only on one of each Murlock to get Old Murkeye.

1-2 Murloc Knight’s would fit well in this deck

That’s not the point of the deck. You don’t want other murlocs to pop out of Anyfin Can Happen because they don’t contribute to the OTK combo.

Will replace one Shredder with a Murloc Knight.

Adding any additional murlocs will break the combo and severely weaken the deck. The exact 7 murlocs in this deck all synergize into one massive charge burst.

I have never liked murlocs and that is why I don’t have Murlock warleader and old murk eye …

But I guess they are mandatory for this deck ? Or can they be changed with something ?

    • Evident - Author
      December 4, 2015 at 1:31 pm

They are mandatory because they create the OTK combo.

Change coghammer to justice weapon? i think its much better for aggro pala

I don’t think so. Even in aggro paladin I would rather have a second truesilver (which is what I reccoment if you don’t have coghammer). This is not an aggro deck. it is a midrange deck that includes and otk combo using anyfin can happen (play all 7 murlocs at some point in the game, then play anyfin on an empty board for 30 damage)
