A powerful fun-to-play competitive deck.

Strategy

The basic strategy behind this Silence Priest Deck is fairly simple:

    1. Get your big “Can’t Attack” Ancient Watcher and Humongous Razorleaf minions on the board early-game.

    2. Use any of your silence cards (Silence, Purify, Ironbeak Owl, Dalaran Librarian, etc) on them.

    3. After the early-game stage, use cards like Faceless Shambler, Faceless Rager and Unsleeping Soul to add more gigantic minions to the board.

    4. The typical win condition is to buff one of your big health minions with Divine Spirit and Inner Fire to OTK your opponent. Sometimes you can pull the combo off by turn 4 (with help of a Radiant Elemental )!

General Tips

    1. Generally, you should mulligan for one Ancient Watcher or Humongous Razorleaf, and one silence spell  (Silence, Purify) or minion (Ironbeak Owl or Dalaran Librarian). Northshire Cleric and Radiant Elemental combined with Power Word: Shield are also good cards to mulligan for, since they can help you draw a few more cards in the early-game.

     2. Do not be afraid to use some of your silence-effect cards on enemy minions if needed.

    3. 99% of the time, you want to use Shadow Visions to discover copies of either Silence, if you feel like you’re going to have to play a lot of minions through the game or Divine Spirit, if you are close to a OTK.

Warnings

   1. In order to use this deck, you need to have unlocked the card Purify (you do so by beating the 3rd level in One Night in Karazhan’s solo adventure).

    2. If you are facing a Priest, do not Inner Fire your “Can’t Attack” minions, unless you can win the game that same turn. Otherwise, chances are your opponent will use Shadow Word: Death to easily eliminate your minions.

    3. As a rule of thumb, you should only Silence / Purify your “Can’t Attack” minions the turn after you play them (the turn they can actually start to attack).

    4. The only time you should buff (with Divine Spirit and Inner Fire) your Ancient Watcher, Humongous Razorleaf and Arcane Watcher minions BEFORE you silence them is when you absolutely need to play a Faceless Shambler that same turn in order to keep your game alive, and you do not have or can’t afford to play a silence-effect card that turn.
