Believe it or not, there’s still some deck innovation going on right now. JustSaiyan has created a Grim Patron deck that includes Hobgoblin! The deck has proven to be rather impressive, Maverick got to Legend Rank 1 on the EU Legend Ladder with it. I realize it’s early in the season, but it’s still pretty cool to make it there with a unique deck. Check out Maverick’s stats from his run that he posted on twitter. What does Emperor do in this deck? Without Warsong allowing huge combos, the cost reduction from Emperor doesn’t seem that relevant in Patron nowadays. Would Loatheb just be better?
a substitute for grommash?
Tough to play without him, but you could try a Sludge Belcher or second Mogu’shan Warden.
