Mulligan Guide

General

Eldritch horror and Bloodlust are both too expensive to keep.

Lava Burst and Ancestral Knowledge are good but their overload will slow you down too much that early. Usually you will be able to trade into a minion if you cannot draw lava burst later on.


FlameTongue Totem is useless in your starting hand

Eternal Sentinel wont be good until later when you may have SIX crystals locked.

Warhorse is no good in the starting hand

Refreshment Vendor may never get played so you don't want it just sitting in your hand the whole game.

Most of these are situational and are better just being drawn later on due to the fact that you may never need them.


Deck Description

I created this deck just the other day and I am doing very well and having lots of fun with it and decided I would share it with people. I'm no expert so I cannot really describe this deck like a professional would. I call it aggro control Shaman because it can be both depending on your hand and your opponent. Bloodlust or Thunder Bluff Valiant usually allow for a late game 10-15 damage turn. 2 Things from below because of the 6 mana cost so Master of evolution can evolve one if you have an established board presence so you can get an upgrade from that 5-5 TFB. If you are not drawing thing from below Nerubian prophet serves the same purpose. Tuskarr Totemic can be used for getting totems out to make TFB cheaper. Twilight drake is good at turn 4 because you usually wont play many cards until that point and you will have at least 4 or 5 in hand. Lighting storm for board clear without to much overload. Eternal sentinel can be used after a turn in which you used a lot of overload cards. Ancestral knowledge is for when you need that extra card draw. Forked lighting is very helpful to stop the enemy from getting really good board presence early on. Psych o Tron, and Warhorse can all be swapped out I just prefer them for certain situations. Eldritch horror can be taken out and replaced with a different High mana card.

This deck was made with the intention of being able to have fun and also win. And I am no expert but in my case it has worked out pretty well and I want to share it with everyone and see what they all think. This deck should be good for newer players because most of these cards are easily obtainable.
