Deck Import

While this deck might not be super competitive it can lead to awesome situations like this one:

Spellslinger and Nexus-Champion Saraad are two cards that will generate random Spells that can help or hinder you. Arcane Blast is an interesting card, it helps you control the board and get to the late game. It also pairs quite nicely with Malygos.

Update: -1 Arcane Missiles, -1 Mana Wyrm, +1 Explosive Sheep, +1 Sorcerer’s Apprentice, +1 Arcane Intellect, -2 Spellslinger, +1 Polymorph, -1 Nexus-Champion Saraad

Why have Arcane missiles been taken out? Surely they’re amazing with Maly?

Preferred the original deck. Spellslinger is insane in this deck.
Might try and find a place for the Explosive Sheep in the original deck, seems like a good idea. Mana Wyrm seems like the obvious candidate although he does apply lots of early pressure goodness.
Have never needed Polymorph in all the games I have played with the deck thus far. Think Nexus-Champion is much better in this slot.
Arcane Intellect … never needed it what with Spellslinger and Nexus!
The deck is great fun, will need more practice before taking it to the ladder as I still keep making silly mistakes by playing the secrets at the wrong time.

    Hi

Do you think I can use this deck to climb the ladder or is it just for fun ?

I think you can do a bit of climbing, but you also have to be really good with the deck.

      Loatheb.

        Loatheb will do fine.
You might also want to try Sylvanas Windrunner or Dr. Boom since they both add to the board state.

Are you serious ? Dr.Boom with 2 effigies is an awful idea ! Never do it !

Touché, I forgot about the Effigies for a minute.
But then I’d say use Sylvanas or Loatheb.

I personally like how this deck plays.
The sheer card advantage and damage bonus from most of the Legendaries in this deck make this very interesting in the late game and grindy games.
+1 for Kibler btw, I like his way of thinking, in Hearthstone and MTG decks.
    Cudos granted.

Will try this deck with reduced RNG. No Saraad, no Spellslinger! Do not like RNG that much.

If you dont like RNG you shouldnt play Tempo Mage tbh. Try Tempo Rogue, same taste, with more consistency.

You can’t beat a bit of mage RNG.. There’s no better feeling than getting something amazing from a unstable portal.

Deck fun to play after update. Using it vanilla, except having included Bloodmage.
