Update: 2x Divine Spirit changed for 1x Potion of Madness and 1x Mass Dispel. Temple Enforcer or Shadow Madness may be cheaper replacements for 1x Mass Dispel.
Hello everyone, I recently helped some friends around rank 20 on deck building for the lowest cost possible and here is a deck that I liked quite a lot which is a nice deck capable of reaching rank 15 in my opinion.
Deck is built on that there are quite strong and cheap minions came with Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion and Priest has many free/cheap control spells itself. So I’ve decided to make a control deck with no legendaries and a single epic card,Dragonfire Potion .
Deck relies on controlling your opponent early with early high HP minions and Shadow Word: Pain and gaining control of the field with big minions earning constant tempo with Cobalt Scalebanes, Bonemares and deathrattles of Bone Drakes which give quite decent dragons at the moment while Thoughtsteal and Free From Ambers give us some game flexibility against opponent’s plays.
There have been a lack of 4-drops and I’ve preferred using a Tortollan Shellraiser and two Twilight Drakes which is because Bone Drakes may drop some Dragon synergy requiring cards and even if not, a Priest usually has a full hand and Twilight Drakes are quite good 4-drops on their own.
Some improvements may be throwing some Shadow Visions if you own, which is also quite essential for Priest but I didn’t include to keep cost low in replacement of a Holy Nova and Divine Spirit. Also one of the Kabal Songstealers and one of the Divine Spirits can be changed for Potion of Madnesses if you face too much aggro that you can’t handle which I don’t expect much with control becoming the meta.
I, personally couldn’t try out this deck well since I got only 2 wins out of 6 in rank 8 with this deck and my alt is just fresh and got no cards at all and I am posting this deck by spectating the games that my friends play with this deck so I’d appreciate feedbacks and improvements for this deck in the comment section.
