Heal Paladin is a relatively new archetype that could start to see some play in Rastakhan’s Rumble. The premise is simple, heal yourself enough that your opponent could potentially succumb to your board, combo, or fatigue.
Probably the most interesting card in the new set is High Priest Thekal. Why would you want to convert all but 1 of your Hero’s Health to Armor?! Well, you can only have a total of 30 health at one time. So, if you get the majority of it back as armor, you can heal yourself back up to 30, which allows you to have a very high health total!
Paladin also got Time Out!, which is a pretty strong stall card that is quite similar to Mage’s Ice Block. This should allow for the deck to potentially hold off the opponent another turn and improve its position or heal out of danger.
