Before you ask, I also have no clue what this card means. “Shatter” is not a keyword/mechanic. There’s an old Mage card called “Shatter” but it would make no sense.
The most likely thing is a teaser for a future expansion? Would be a nice troll in a “time travel” expansion 🙂
Shatter reads to me like destroying your own cards to do effects like the Soul Fragments archetype but we’ll find out.
Also the “misplaced” in the name is giving the card being from a future or next expansion like you said, maybe more time travel or teleporting vibes
My best guess for this card is that whenever you destroy a frozen card it deals 2 damage to all enemy minions
If I had to guess, “Shatter” is a bonus effect on a card, but only if the card is played within 2 turns, if not the card is destroyed.
I think it might be related to cards like “Divergence”.
Whenever you split a card in two, it’ll also activate shatter.
I like the idea, but if that was the case, it would say “Shatter” not “Split” on Divergence (and other similar cards).
It would make zero sense to use the keyword on Pyromancer but not on Divergence.
