I actually don’t know how i feel about this. They have a Fiar about cards that sound nice to them, and I don’t think they are worried all that much about losing 9 health but you completely destroy the board or resurrect 3 other minions. I think it’s more to do with: “Can I fit this in my deck?”

    3 Stars.

PROBABLY sees play for high roll potential since hitting Galakrond or something is pretty ridiculous. The issue is Control Priest runs both extremes of the spectrum where this could draw you a 1 drop where the “discount” isn’t as good or a Plague of Death that potentially sets up lethal for the opponent.

Regardless I’m sure you still play it in most priest decks that can afford to play it with it probably being best in a midrangey minion based priest deck with this on the top end. Whether or not that deck works? Idk, but this is definitely very good if you can play something like a taunt alongside it (potentially the 3 mana 4/7).

I think this card is a lot less flexible than you think. At the moment, Priest decks usually don’t run a lot of healing asides from Renew or the occasional Waterbearer. Playing this card would take a big chunk out your hero’s health, something that might not be replenishable, especially since after you become Galakrond you won’t be able to heal yourself with your hero power anymore.

Not to mention this is an 8 mana 8/8 that has no immediate effect on board when it is played.

Beutiful, maybe can be part of a big minion deck that isn’t based on revives.

Really? This is an 8 mana 8/8 with no immediate effect on the board. And if you choose to play the two cards that you’ve drawn, if those two cards were cost-heavy you’re gonna take a bunch of face damage and potentially open up yourself for a lethal. If those two cards you’ve drawn aren’t cost heavy, then they won’t make much impact on the board and this card’s gonna come out kinda weak. In my opinion running Murozond might still be a better bet than this.
