General Information

  • You get one Classic card pack for your first victory this week.
  • It’s the third time we see this Brawl. Last time we’ve seen it on December 30, 2015.
  • Brawl’s format is Wild.
  • It’s a build your own deck Brawl. You pick a class and build a Wild deck.
  • There are no custom rules or mechanics for the decks themselves – the only difference is in Hero Power. You get a random Boss Hero Power instead of your normal one (see the graphic below). Then it changes after every use.
  • It means that you don’t really want to play Odd decks or decks that rely on basic Hero Power.
  • If you’re looking for a deck to play, check out our Wild Tier List (although it wasn’t updated for Scholomance yet).

That’s why raza, should be nerfed, make an even deck it’s more difficult then a highlander deck, raza shoud change only basic hero powers to 0 (if you change power with ser finley it’s ok to retain 0).

Took a few games before I realized you can use the new hero power as soon as it changes, so you can use it multiple times in one turn if you have enough mana. This makes Maiden of the Lake a killer card; once you have 10 mana, drop her for 4, then hero power six times. If she sticks, you get ten hero powers the next turn.

Alternatively, if you play cards that change your hero power (like Jaraxxus or Bloodreaver Gul’dan), you keep that one, it doesn’t change to one of the brawl hero powers after you use it.

Weird, now it doesn’t work the way I described, I just lost Gul’dan’s hero power after I used it. Either I didn’t remember right, or they changed it after day 1, or I found some kind of bug, but I would have sworn I used his hero power multiple times in one game, and I would have sworn an opponent used Jaraxxus’s hero power more than once against me.

I think that the Brawl has the wrong description. I think that description was for last brawl.

I would like to propose the idea that instead of Just getting the hero power you also get the deck! You could either choose or randomly get any heroic boss deck and see how you fair against other players in an equally overpowered and ridiculous game! Though I have no idea how Rafaam would work. I guess it’d be an instant win as you’d Just lose a heroic boss deck and have to work with literally the shittiest deck I’ve ever seen.

I think Poisoned Blade is a pretty stand out card too. You can gain 5 attack a turn at 10 mana or 10 attack if you have Maiden of the Lake. I have won many games with that card.

At first I thought druid might be best with the mana ramp. But the I remember how great mage was vs the tron defense system. Once you summon arcano tron and electron, mage just kills by going face with free or near free spells. Here’s my deck:

Oh forgot to tell u guys the strat. Try to cycle through hero power as much as possible to get electron up. Don’t worry if the hero power isn’t good at the moment keep using it and u’ll get the right ones. Wait for arcano and electron to cast ur spells, don’t waste mana casting non discounted spells. Try to go face.
