Nefarian Rises! Chalkboard
General Information
- You get one Classic card pack for winning your first game this week.
- It’s the third time we see this Brawl. Last time we’ve seen it on January 24, 2018.
- It’s premade decks Brawl. You just hit Play and you get to fight against Nefarian as one of the two classes.
- It’s a cooperative Brawl. Both players fight against boss instead of fighting against themselves. It does NOT mean that you can’t do harm to your “opponent”, but it’s not advisable.
Tips/Notes
- Nefarian starts with 200 Health and can’t be targeted by spells.
- At 160 Health Nefarian gives himself 5 Attack and casts the spell ‘Elemental Eruption‘ that does 4-6 damage to all other minions.
- At 60 Health Nefarian goes to 10 Attack and casts the spell ‘Twisted Light‘ that does 30 damage to all other minions and heals himself for 30.
- Don’t fill up the board to 7 minions and pass the turn or Nefarian will destroy your board.
playing this with randoms is torture 😀
It’s important to note that when Nefarian goes to 160 and 60 health, he becomes immune.
I thought it was interesting that they had a Choose One card for a non-Druid class.
You are missing the 3 mana 3/4 that lets you draw when you buff it
Priest needs to uber buff the gargoyle and it’s an easy win.
^ Pretty much this – I won on the first attempt; I was the Priest and that’s what I did. That and kept both of us healed.
The Druid also gets Vitality Totem and the Priest gets Thoughtsteal and Mind Vision so you can nab yourself a copy of the Vitality Totem (if you’re lucky) and pair it up with Raid Healer to restore 4 health to both heroes each turn (as long as the cards are in play).
Similar to unite against mechazoid except you actually have to WIN to earn your pack, looks like I’m out a free pack this week, I have NEVER won one of these.
It only took me four attempts. Maybe quit crying, suck it up and put some effort in to it.
Easy, got it first try and didn’t even know what I was doing. Just played cards that seemed good at the time. Getting the buff every non boss minion off with Brann on the board twice was pretty cool.
