It’s time for the first card reveal stream for The Boomsday Project expansion! If you are new to these events, they are usually an hour long, and we tend to get to see around 10 or so cards. Peter Whalen & Brian Kibler will walk through each card and Peter will discuss the design and purpose behind the card, while Kibler gives some of his insights as a veteran card slinger.
We will be covering the stream as it happens, so if you can’t watch it live, we’ll have a full list Boomsday Project cards revealed during the stream!

I see Mage decks with malygos :+ New mage card is pretty op. (Seems op, but in a fight :/ idk) Mech warrior incoming 😀
The combo is indeed OP, but it’s also very hard to pull off. Sticking Malygos to the board is almost impossible (opponent will most likely just Silence or kill it), and even if you do, it’s usually better to just kill your opponent with it 🙂 8 damage Frostbolts and 11 damage Fireballs should make it quite easy. So even if you stick Malygos, you’d rather just throw a bunch of damage spells at your opponent than play Unexpected Results.
The card seems more powerful with cheaper sources of Spell Damage. Even 1 or 2 Spell Damage is enough for it to be pretty damn powerful.
Finally – Warrior is getting better cards!
Not that I play Warrior, but with this new insanely powerful Hero Card, It might actually come back.
At least I hope so.

The pinata could work well with Dr. Boom, as it would gain charge, allowinng you to kill it off and get its deathrattle effect when you play it. Also, perhaps a deadmans hand warrior that keeps recycling the strong mechs, and playing them with rush to control the board?
Lab Recruiter+Tess Greymane might be a good combo.

LuL finally, it has been such an OP class for so long!
Has it tho? What mage deck has been tier 1 recently? Aggro mage hasn’t been T1 in (how long?) and control mage def isn’t tier one. Exodia mage maybe? Wouldn’t describe it as op.
