Shop Update: New Battlegrounds Bundles + Returning Constructed Hero Skins

It’s Tuesday, so it’s time for another shop update. Today we have new cosmetic bundles for Battlegrounds as well as some returning skins for Constructed. However, they aren’t available in game, only through the Battle.net shop. There are some possible explanations – sometimes they push them through Battle.net too quickly and they might be planned to drop e.g. next week. Or maybe they forgot to add them in game. We’ll see how it all develops, but at the time I’m writing it, they’re purchasable. Here are all the new items:

  • Battlegrounds Mega Bundle – Eternal Night ($29.99) – Disco Dynamite Battlegrounds Strike, Karazhan Forever Battlegrounds board and 16 new skins.
  • Battlegrounds Board – Karazhan Forever ($9.99) – A new Battlegrounds board (also included in Eternal Night bundle).
  • Battlegrounds Strike – Disco Dynamite ($4.99) – A new Battlegrounds strike (also included in Eternal Night bundle).
  • Battlegrounds Bartender – Gala Medivh ($9.99 or 1500 Gold) – A returning Battlegrounds cosmetic Bartender.
  • Lu Bu Garrosh Hero Skin ($6.99) – A returning Warrior skin (Tier 2). Previously available from the Three Kingdoms bundle in February 2021.
  • Thrall, Son of Durotan Hero Skin ($6.99) – A returning Shaman skin (Tier 2). Previously available from Darkmoon Faire’s Tavern Pass rewards track.

What? Battlepass skins aren’t exclusive anymore?

Were they intended to be exclusive in the first place? And forever? I don’t think so. That way they could earn money only once 😛
In the past months, many “so-far-exclusive” skins from pre-urchase bundles were re-sold.
Aaaand it’s probably not just a coincidence that you can buy the current skins only in the webshop, for real money.

By the way, I am also look forward buying some of the battlepass skins, in case they will be available for in-game gold in the future.
