Shop Update: Nagrand Garrosh, Second War Uther, SI:7 Anduin and Gladiator Valeera Available Again ($6.99 or 1000 Gold) + Bundles

In-game shop was just updated with new deals. The ones that will probably interest you most are older Hero skins available once again with gold. They are all “Book of Heroes” skins from earlier this year:

  • Nagrand Garrosh – Originally available between December 16, 2020 and January 12, 2021.
  • Second War Uther – Originally available between January 5, 2021 and January 12, 2021.
  • SI:7 Anduin – Originally available between February 2, 2021 and February 9, 2021.
  • Gladiator Valeera – Originally available between March 2, 2021 and March 16, 2021.

You can get them individually for $6.99 or 1000 Gold each. It’s the standard price for those skins. They don’t come with any extra card backs.

On top of those, we’ve got a bunch of different bundles – however, I’m not sure if they aren’t dynamic just like the last few ones we had. The ones I have are “Year of the Phoenix” and “Legendary Mercenary” bundles available + individual Legendary cards to purchase. The individual Legendary cards seem pretty horrible ($5-7 for a single Legendary is not something you want given that it’s random and the chances of you getting whatever you need are pretty slim). Year of the Phoenix Bundle is 25 Packs + 2 Legendaries for $20, which is technically a GREAT deal, but Year of the Phoenix cards rotate out of Standard in 4 months, so their value is way lower now. And Mercs bundle – yeah, it’s okay too, 10 Packs + Legendary for $10, if you play Mercs and need a boost to your collection it’s solid.

If you’re missing a lot of cards from Year of the Phoenix AND play Wild, then I guess it’s pretty good value. But Wild Bundles have higher value than Standard ones anyway. I still don’t recommend it for Standard players, 4 months in Standard is not enough IMO.
