Another part of Patch 18.2, besides Constructed & Battlegrounds changes, is the new event called Forbidden Library! Here’s a breakdown of the content:
Coming September 8 – Constructed & Battlegrounds Changes
On September 8, the patch will be out with the Constructed & Battlegrounds changes.
We’ve already covered those in separate posts:
Additionally, we’ll get a “Mega Wild Bundle” with a total of 56 packs from the last 7 expansions which rotated out to Wild (8 from each). We don’t know the pricing yet, but the last time a similar bundle was available (Toki’s Wild Bundle) it costed $34.99.
Coming September 15 – Book of Heroes (Jaina) & Scholar Jaina Bundle
Follow Jaina Proudmoore’s journey from scholar to mighty Mage in Hearthstone Book of Heroes, an all-new solo experience! Hearthstone Book of Heroes will bring fresh and FREE single player content over the course of the next 12 months, until the stories for all 10 core Heroes have been told. Defeating all 8 bosses in this linear adventure will reward 1 Mage Pack, containing only Mage cards from Standard!
We’ll also get a Scholar Jaina bundle with a new cosmetic Hero for Mage. Learn more about it here.
Coming September 23 – Heroic Brawliseum
You’ve studied up, and now it’s time for a real test! For 1000 Gold or $9.99, you can enter a competitive Tavern Brawl using cards from your own collection with big rewards! Based on how successful your run is, you could win Dust, Gold, Card Packs, and even Golden Legendary cards! Brawl until you’ve lost 3 or won 12!
If judging by the average wins of Brawl, my best record is 3-6 wins.
and if the entry cost is 1000gold, then I’m sorry, this Brawl is not for me.
And as for the rest of the “events”, free solo adventure seems fun, although free means they won’t be giving many rewards.
Yeah I agree, this event is less enjoyable for me. Plus if you’re non-battleground players, it’s even more than less enjoyable. It’s better if they gave out Legendary quest, but they’re not.
What format Brawliseum?

the last times it was 1000 gold entry, there was no free entry! So it would be amazing if it would be free this time, I guess it wll be not 🙁
This whole event seems a bit too… “paid”
Do you have any idea if everyone will get one free run in the Brawlesium like we have in the past?
No idea, they didn’t say anything, but I would hope so!
