(Day 3 Live) Masters Tour: Summer Championship 2024 Guide, Three Packs From Twitch Drops, August 16-18

Update: Day 3 of the tournament is now live! You can get your third (and final) pack from Twitch drops today.

Masters Tour: Summer Championship starts on August 16 and we finally got some more details! It's the second (and last...) Masters Tour event this year. 16 players from three major regions who got most ladder points in June and July will compete for their share of the $50k prize pool, as well as a chance to qualify for the 2024 Hearthstone World Championship.

2024's Hearthstone esports plans have changed slightly in the light of recent news. With Chinese servers back up soon, the World Championship expands to 16 players. Four of those slots are reserved for Chinese players, but the other four are given to highest ladder points earners from all regions. You can find more details here. While it's not a massive difference, we can hope that it might rejuvenate the Hearthstone esports scene a little bit.

Twitch drops will also be active during Summer Championship. Watch the tournament on the official Twitch channel to earn up to three Perils in Paradise card packs (1 pack per day). Just be sure to connect your Twitch and Battle.net accounts if you haven't done it already.
