Update: Full patch notes are out now - they include all of the things below, and much more! Check them out here!

A big Battlegrounds update was just announced by Kripparrian - he created a video detailing some of the new changes. I'm not sure if if it was released already by mistake or they've planned to give him some exclusivity, but here it is.

The patch is dropping tomorrow (Tuesday, December 15th) just like we suspected. We should get more detailed patch notes later today.

New Hero is N'Zoth:

"Darkmoon Prizes" are limited-time (we don't know how long they will be available for yet) Spells. Yes, Spells are coming to Battlegrounds. Every four turns, there is a prize turn - T4, T8, T12 and T16 - and then you'll get to Discover one of the spells. Some of them are single-use, others have a long-term or even permanent effects. They should substantially change the way the BG is played, as those turns will feature much bigger power spikes than previously. Here's the full list showcased in Kripp's video:

We might still get some buffs / nerfs, we'll learn more in the patch notes that should be shown quite soon! :)

For some one who doesn't really play much BG's... I can't lie, this patch does look very exciting! I will defo' be trying it out!

Same English mistake as last time I mentioned it. Saying "the full Kripp's video" amounts to saying "the video of the full Kripp". You have 's, get rid of the article and place the adjective next to what it's meant to qualify. The correct wording of what you meant is this:

    "watch Kripp's full video here"

G'hunn my boy, where are you?

BGs are fun but so easy... its been dozens of games since I last lose... too easy
