Let’s take a look at some of the strong and unique decks that have been frequenting the meta this week.

The Rise of the Mill/Fatigue Deck
I think a lot of us hoped for some new archetypes to make an appearance upon the release of Goblins vs. Gnomes. It looked pretty grim within the first few weeks with only heavy Mech synergy being the viable new deck type. However, ChaosFollowing would create a deck that would spark a wide adoption of a new style. On the back of some enthusiasm from Kripp, the deck started to really pick up in the meta. Freshca, a man who loves himself a good mill deck, had been playing with a similar deck with the Mage class. Otter, known for his Freeze Mage, would pick the deck up and start streaming it regularly. He wrote a guide about it on Reddit and the boom of the Mill/Fatigue deck is upon us.
Ramp Druid
Druid did not receive much help from Goblins vs. Gnomes, thankfully for Druid, they didn’t need much help. Ramp Druid has risen from the ashes once more, proving that the class is just as strong as it ever was.
Midrange Paladin
This deck was quickly popularized by Trump and only further gained traction when StrifeCro used it in one of the first GvG tournaments. It continues to show itself as one of the strongest decks on the ladder.
Face Hunter
Here’s a deck many people didn’t want to see back on the ladder. The Hunter deck does exactly what its name requires: goes face. It can stall out and be beaten, but when this deck fires on all cylinders it’s a force to be reckon with.
Medic Mage
A deck that utilizes Illuminator?! A crazy thought, but not too crazy for Zetalot and his Medic Mage. This is a pretty awesome deck that is not only unique among Mage decks, but unique to the meta in general.
Control Rogue
Trump is continuing to experiment with decks, and he came up with one to break your wallet. “Capitalism Rogue” is a control deck that costs a whopping 11k+ dust, and very appropriately contains Trade Prince Gallywix.
