(Update: Issue With Drops) Hearthstone Community Day Event, Get 9 Free Card Packs From Twitch Drops

Update: The event is ending soon, it’s your last chance to get free packs!

Update #2: There was some issue with drops early into the event. If you claimed yours and you didn’t get them, don’t worry, they will arrive next week when things get fixed. (Source)

Hearthstone Community day is back! Starting very soon, you will be able to get 9 free card packs (from different expansions) thanks to Twitch Drops. The drops will be active across the whole Hearthstone category, so watch any of your favorite streamers to get extra rewards.

In order to get all 9 card packs, you need to watch streams for a total of 4 hours (we have 4 separate drops giving you 2-3 packs, and each drops takes an hour of watch time).

Many streamers also received a bunch of BlizzCon Collection codes to give away on their streams – so you should try getting one of those too while you’re watching.

Drops will be active for 24 hours starting today (October 21) at 9 AM PT (18:00 CET). So no matter what time zone you’re in, you should be able to get those 4 hours of watch time quite comfortably.

Starting today, get into the spirit of the season with a treat of one free pack per week from the in-game shop, for a limited time. Check back often so you don’t miss any!

Then, this weekend, from 21-22, we’ll be hosting a special Community Day to celebrate the announcement of Showdown in the Badlands, prepare for the upcoming Twist season, and get hyped for BlizzCon! By participating in Community Day, you can rustle up 9 free packs within 24 hours!

Update: Community Day drops timing has been adjusted. The 24 hour period this weekend and the total rewards is still the same, but the drops breakdown and timing has been tweaked to the following.

From October 21, 9:00 a.m. (PT) to October 22, 8:59 a.m. (PT), you can earn four drops, each for watching one hour of any Hearthstone stream.

  • First drop: 2 Journey to Un’Goro Packs
  • Second drop: 1 Voyage to the Sunken City Pack + 1 Murder at Castle Nathria Pack
  • Third drop: 1 March of the Lich King Pack + 1 Festival of Legends Pack
  • Fourth drop: 1 TITANS Pack + 2 Showdown in the Badlands Packs

Tune in to your favorite streamers and join them for this fun celebration of Hearthstone’s community! Make sure you link your Twitch and Battle.net accounts so that your viewing time counts towards drops. Streamers in Hearthstone’s Creator Program have also been given BlizzCon Collection codes they’ll be giving away on their streams to add some giddyup to the celebration!
