Update: The issue got fixed, if you are stuck you need to download another update and it should get you into the game. If you don’t see the update, you can force it yourself – just follow the steps from the Tweet below.
If your device can’t see the new update, to Google Play → open your profile icon in the top right → open “Manage apps & device” → select “Updates available” → select “Update All.” We believe that should cause the update to appear on your devices.

Big warning for all of you who play Hearthstone on Android devices. There’s a patch available in the Google Play app store, but DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT! It’s bugged and it will lock you out of playing on that device – you won’t be able to get into the game at all.
If you already downloaded it, you can’t really do anything. Devs are working on a fix for those who are affected, and in the meantime, you can try playing on another device.
We’ll post an update once the issue is resolved, you can also check out an official list of Patch 21.8 known issues, it should be updated once the bug is fixed.
