Deck Import

The leader of the Dragon Army has brought together a deck that seems reasonably powered. He started with the Dragons of Justice deck recipe and made a bunch of revisions like adding Selfless Hero, Flame Juggler, and the all powerful Deathwing, Dragonlord. Forbidden Healing was another addition of note that seems to be popping up in a lot of Paladin Midrange – Control deck lists. The card is starting to feel like one of the stand outs in the set!

Update

-1 Chromaggus, -1 Rend Blackhand, +1 Brann Bronzebeard, +1 Keeper of Uldaman

Do you think its better to craft ysera or chillmaw for dragon-type decks such as this one? I only have enough dust for one haha

Ysera has seen virtually no play recently so I would lean towards Chillmaw, but I would wait and see what Karazhan does for Dragon decks.

You could maybe go two Faerie Dragon to help in your early game.

Is it bad to replace one forbidden healing with ragnaros the lightlord? I just think i want to have some big minion with good healing efects than just a heal.

why flame juggler and not fairy dragon for exaple?

3/2 minions lose out to AOE like Consecration and Holy Nova, plus they now die to Disciple of C’Thun. Flame Juggler also has the chance of taking out a 1-health minion which can help a lot.

It’s worth experimenting, I don’t have much experience with this list.

I made one of mine and put Nozdormu in it. Surpisingly it was pretty good when played through Deathwing’s Deathrattle. It seems while the death animation is playing, the counter is already set to 15 seconds and running, but you can’t see the rope, so people end up messing up their turns and it’s a win on yours.

Suggestions for a replacement for deathwing?

Looks like I might need to craft the new Deathwing, Dragonlord… I’ve got the rest of the pieces and this seems like a pretty cool deck in the new later-game meta.

I would keep in mind if you are really playing to rank up that Deathwing is probably not that great of a card. Kibler has it in his deck more because he likes Dragons and revealed it. Nefarian or Tirion might be a better option.

So is this deck viable in ranked with a replacement for deathwing? I already had a deck for ranked but wanted to try this deck more seriously 😛

It’s viable, but I wouldn’t say it was going to be top tier.

Is Tirion a good replacement for Chillmaw?

Drakonid Crusher could work, or you could go with a second Keeper of Uldaman.

        Is Tirion better?
(I’ve seen your reply to a different comment)

        Thanks 😀

It might be, but you’ll also be lacking a Dragon so it would need to be experimented with.

Chillmaw is good for board presense and a nice aoe after. Without him maybe another deathrsttle theyd have to play around. Tirion maybe. And hey sylvannas works anywhere

Really liking this deck. It has real play against both C’thun decks and aggro decks. I don’t even have Chillmaw or Ysera and still doing really well.

I’ve actually pulled it off twice today, Bran T3, Coin Consort T4. Not super likely, but there’s a ton of battlecry in the deck.
