Experimental: The deck should be considered a work in progress.
This is a fun control-ish Warrior deck that leans heavily on Dragon synergy. You’ll also notice a bit of a surprise in this Dragon deck, Onyxia makes a rare appearance! Now, I wouldn’t go crafting it if you don’t have it, but if you’ve been hoping for a moment to get some use out of her, then now could be that time! If you don’t have Onyxia, you can try Nefarian or Alexstrasza in its place. Rend Blackhand is also making a rare appearance and can be really useful at taking out Loatheb or Emperor Thaurissan.
Any Ysera replacements ?
Nefarian.
Chillmaw?
Any Grommash replacements?
Maybe another big Dragon like Nefarian.
Onyxia Kappa
I ironically just opened Onyxia but it would be even more ironic if I played this deck. Is this any good and has anyone play tested this?
I tested it with the following changes:
– Onyxia
– Rend Blackhand
– Battle Rage
+ Alexstrasza
+ Emperor Thaurissan
+ 2nd Blackwing Technician
Went 5-0 on my Warrior quest yesterday, but obviously that’s not a very good sample size.
I must say I like your modification!
Deck may be not very competitive compared to CW, but it’s quite fun and spices up climbing
With all those battlecries, wouldn’t a Brann be helpful in there? Trading for a bash or monkey, and also replace Onyxia by Nefarian (Imagine, 4 spells!)
Also, given the lack of AOE, put in a Chillmaw or maybe Brawl?
