Asteroid Umbra Shaman (Standard; June 2025)

Was climbing to legend with a dedication to make Asteroid shaman work. After countless experiments and being stuck on Diamond 3 for 4 hours, I finally got to a list that I think could go far. Time will tell.

Deck Basics:

Triangulate is a key card to mulligan, you want to discover a card based on matchup. 60% of time you want Meteor shower but with aggro matchups you might want a Hex or Frosty Decor.

Another Key card is mr Nobundo. There’s a mini Draenei package to find him sooner and also copy him. This deck really wants to get Nobundo out ASAP so play turns 2-3-4 accordingly so you can do it. After Nobundo you can copy it with Astral Vigilant, and play another one. Then you have locations creating mostly Asteroids while dealing with Boards. It doesn’t really matter if you can put meteor shower in the first locations, in longer games you wanna keep one meteor shower for late because Endbringer Umbra will finish the game anyways.

You also want to Shudderwock Behemoth ASAP.

Final combo you want to reach that will win you the game is Shudderwock into Endbringer umbra. Presumably your deathrattles from Frosty Decor and two played Nobundos will give you 3-6 locations and 36-48 armor.

You wanna have one meteor shower for this and enjoy having 300 damage in your deck. You wanna also keep Ethereals for finishers. 

I love how adaptable this deck is to different matchups and Hex is such a powerful card in this meta. There were couple of games where you didnt draw a meteor in a critical moment and lost the game, but the fact that this beats every control deck and with the right play, can stand it’s ground into every aggro matchup makes it awesome. When you OTK a 100HP Death Knight out of nowhere, you will love this deck.

Went 7-1 from D3 to Legend with this and it felt illegal so had to share.
