Buddies Will Rotate Out Of Battlegrounds And A New Naga Minion Got Revealed By Kripp – Glowscale

Big news for Battlegrounds players. In his video revealing a new Naga minion, Kripparrian had a short interview with Battlegrounds designer Dominic Calkosz, who shared some more info about the upcoming patch.

He confirmed that Buddies are rotating out of Battlegrounds. The massive system got added not that long ago, because only ~4 months ago, with Alterac Valley’s Patch 22.2. It was never marketed as a permanent addition and we knew that devs can always take it out if needed, but I thought that Buddies will stay us for some more time.

However, if past big additions are anything to go by, it’s quite likely that they will make a comeback in the future, even if in a limited form. For example, Darkmoon Prizes system has rotated out but then got added back to 1/4 of the matches. While I had mixed feelings about buddies, it would be a shame for a massive addition like that to be gone forever.

On top of that info, Kripp has also revealed a new Naga – Glowscale. It’s another Spellcraft minion and it looks quite interesting. If you want to learn more about Spellcraft or Rise of the Naga, check out this post.

No more buddies for now? D: A bold change. But it’s smart, because the new content have opportunity to shine. 🙂
