Book of Mercenaries: Kurtrus Has Been Released!

Blizzard is now altering between two different kinds of PvE content – Book of Heroes and Book of Mercenaries. Instead of covering lore of the basic Hearthstone Heroes (which I’m sure they will get back to), we’ll get to know more about Mercenaries – characters that will stay with us throughout the entire Year of the Gryphon.

And so, the fourth chapter of Book of Mercenaries is now out! We’ll get a closer look at the story of Demon Hunter Mercenary – Kurtrus Ashfallen.

There are 8 fights you go through, each one detailing a part of Kurtrus’ backstory. After beating all of them, you get one Demon Hunter Card Pack for free. Demon Hunter Card Pack contains 5 random Demon Hunter class cards from current Standard expansions.

In case you have any troubles, we’ll have a guide for all the encounters ready soon!

As I slog through another one of these for 40 dust and can’t help but remember how much more fun (and more importantly replayable) the K&C DR, Witchwood, dalaran heist and tombs of terror were in comparison.

I find the books to be quite boring and I would never just replay one for fun. Hopefully the go back to something closer to what I mentioned before after this year. The always got my $20 bucks for the full adventure for heist and tombs.
