Battlegrounds Season 3 Preview Event Is Now Live!

The preview event announced a couple of days ago has now started. 24 players from different regions will form three teams, each round teams will swap players between each other. You can find more detailed rules here. Ultimately, each member of the winning team is going to get 15 Season Passes to give away to their community.

The event is played on Patch 25.2, with Season 3 live – you can already see all of the new minions, new Hero etc. If you’re interested in Battlegrounds and want to see how it will look like after Patch 25.2 launches next week, check it out! After the reveals, join us on January 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PT for Professor Putricide’s special “Build a Team” Battlegrounds Season 3 preview event! Teams from NA, LATAM, and EMEA* have come to compete, and Professor Putricide is trying to make his most amazing creation yet: the perfect Battlegrounds team. How, you ask? By mixing them up!

Players will compete in three teams: Team Nerubian, Team Eternal, and Team Abomination. After each round, each team will trade one player for a player from another team. Teams will keep playing, and mixing, until the time for the event is up and the winning team will be deemed “Plague Perfected”! 15 Season Passes will be awarded to each member of the winning team, for them to distribute to their communities!

Each competitor will be streaming from their perspective. They will each also have additional Season Pass codes to give away throughout the event, so make sure you watch your favorite streamer as they push for plague perfection in the new, unknown meta! APAC will be hosting its own separate preview on January 13, from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. PT (January 12, 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. KST).
