Announcing Masters Tour Indonesia – March 20-22

Next Master Stop is at Arlington (January 30 – February 2), but Blizzard shows no sings of stopping. They just announced another Tour Stop, this time in Indonesia. Over 300 players will fight for their share of $250,000 base prize pool (but there’s a solid chance that they will make another bundle that bumps up the total prize pool).

Masters Tour Indonesia will take place between March 20-22. Qualifiers will start on December 12 and go all the way until January 26.

We’re excited to announce that after Arlington, the next Masters Tour location will be in Indonesia! Being the first Masters Tour to take place (just) south of the equator, we’re hoping players lucky enough to score an invite to this event will join us in soaking up the south pacific sun!

As for the Hearthstone tournament, Blizzard Entertainment and AKG Games will host over 300 invited competitors from around the globe on March 20-22, each competing for their share of a $250,000 base prize pool. The qualifying window for Masters Tour Indonesia will run from 12/12-1/26, and as always, you can sign up for Masters Qualifiers two weeks before they start on Battlefy.

Here are some of the ways you can snag an invite to Masters Tour Indonesia:

  • Win an online Masters Qualifier between December 12 and January 26.
  • Have finished with at least a 7-2 result at Masters Tour Bucharest.
  • Finish with at least a 7-2 result at Masters Tour Arlington.
  • Win an on-site Masters Qualifier at Masters Tour Arlington.
  • Place within the Top 8 of a Masters Qualifier for Masters Tour Indonesia 5 times.
  • Place top 16 Legend on the in-game Ladder in the months of December and January (see official Masters Qualifiers rules for details).
  • Be a Hearthstone Grandmaster.

    yeah, i know.
HS is not too popular in Indonesia.
Im from Indonesia, i know it.
they prefer play MOBA/battle royal game than play card game or board game.

but Indonesia still has many HS player.
even in sea games in Indonesia, they held HS as esport.
and there is still many fireside gathering in famous city in Indonesia.

as HS player, im so glad, they choose Indonesia (bali) to next tour.

    hmm, not so interesting.

wait, I might know the answer.
Indonesia is not a “market” for Hearthstone.
China is the still the best market in Asia. maybe even Singapore or Malaysia, but not Indonesia.
